He's so good & has been for a long time. So efficient. Dude is asked to do everything w a bad OL, best weapon retired in Baldwin & he just keeps making plays.
Since last year 47 TD/7 INT. Almost 5,000 yards. ANY/A 9.27 this year, only Mahomes is higher.
Hope I don't get arrested by the Pats homer police? Just a lil appreciation of other players.
Hopefully I get to keep my Pats fan card w this
Like I said above though Wilsons trade off is sacks. Last he was top 5 w sack% at 10.7 & 13th this year at 7.7. Big improvement but still could be a lil better.
Not sure what this Nerd chart means, but I like charts so studied it a bit.
1. Chart is bisected by 2 red dashed lines both vertically and horizontally, creating 4 cardinal quadrants. Red lines appear to be around the average of the values which are both above the 0-0 values;
2. It appears NE quadrant is the best and SW is the worse. Not sure which is best between NW and SE quads;
3. Horizontal red line appears to define
level of EPA (expected points added) per play (Brady is at 0.2 - positive);
4. Vertical red line appears to define
level of % completion above some base measure (Brady is at zero - negative);
5. Brady is in NW quad, left of V-red line and above H-red line;
6. Per chart Darnold, Cousins and Carr are all in NE quad and appear to be more efficient than Brady, Rodgers, and Weintz.
Since the team record of the first 3 QBs is 8-8 and of the last 3 is 13-4, not sure what the significance of this chart is. Because football is dependent on so many different players to score I can't begin to imagine how EPA is calculated versus a sport like baseball (with its own version of epa) were it would be so much easier.
Also, this chart obviously is weighted towards QBs that pass or run more for TDs than just hand off the ball like Brady does inside the RZ. It is surprising to see Rodgers and Brady in the same quad and that Brady is more efficient than Rodgers.
I spent too much time on this and really got nothing out of it. Damn you BGC.
