The Jets suck (merged)

Wow... I thought phin fans were the most delusional.

So your evaluation of Sanchez is based on what he did at USC, not last year in his rookie NFL season where he helped take his team to the AFC Championship?

Your effort to describe the Jets talent was pathetic.
Sanchez's aversion to and poor handling of pressure was more apparent last year than it was at USC. Its a little to early to tell, but it looks like you may have drafted a guy who is more concerend with bracing for the hit than making the throw. The results make it look even more likely.

Sanchez was along for the ride to the AFCC. You won 2 playoff games with a QB who barely was allowed to throw the ball. A team winning does not justify every player was good, and the 7-7 season plus 2 giveups was full of evidence that if you needed Sanchez to make critical plays to win, you dont win.

If the future of your franchise depends on Mark Sanchez, sorry to tell you but its going to look a lot like the past of your franchise.

Do any of the Green Beans fans posting here know when single-game tickets go on sale due to the thousands of unsold PSLs? I'm looking forward to getting seats for the Patriots game in the Meadowlands for the first time without having to pay a scalper. Think any of the games will be blacked out this season? Also, how much weight has Jabba Wrecks lost so far? Is his mouth still fat?

You're flailing

But when you have nothing left, I guess resorting to making **** up will suffice.

Jets don't play a classic 3-4, more of a hybrid 3-4, and they play a lot of 4-3, Jenkins is a beast in the middle, no matter how hard you spin otherwise.

You're full of spin and innuendo about the Jets, love the assumption about players and contract disputes, as if the Pats don't have any issues.

The FACT and bottomline is, the Jets are a loaded team that got even better this off-season, all the spin in the world you can muster doesn't change that, it only makes you look ******ed for making **** up to make yourself feel better.

Love the LT ypc spin compared to Jones. The Jets have one of the best OL's in football, that isn't changing this year, especially when compared to San Diego. And I told you Sproles also struggled behind that same Charger OL, his ypc wasn't much better than LT. So since you love to drum up stats, try doing it so it makes sense, not spinning it to fig your Jet hating and envy agenda.

And dumbass, I compared Sanchez to Brady and Manning in their ROOKIE years. Sanchez went to the AFC Championship, how did Manning and Brady do?

You stay with that spin about Sanchez, you know damn well the kid looks like he will be a good one, and soon!!!

I'll come back to laugh at you soon enough!

Jetfan19...you are getting crushed in this arguement..just give it up.

What I don't get is why Jets fans use their AFC Championship appearance as something to rub in Patriots fans' faces. The Pats went to 5 AFC title games (and won 4) the last decade. We're not that impressed by your one appearance. Stop using that.

More conjecture and ignorance

So all the jets players who have been hurt, will get hurt

I guess the Pats should be worried about Brady

You don't know **** about the jets

Copying and pasting an article doesn't explain ****, half the media don't know what the hell they are talking about either

To say that Sanchez looked like **** as a rookie just proves your own ignorance

He had an inconsistent season, he went through the ups and downs like ALL the rookie QB's do, like Brady did, like Manning did, he also put it all together at the end of the year and peformed his best when it mattered most, that is huge. To have 3 playoff games under his belt after his first year is extremely valuable, only a dumbass like you would try to argue otherwise

I made it a point to reference Sproles because you brought up ypc and attributed a lower ypc for LT as a sign that he is done, than why not do the same for Sproles? Right, because you don't know what the **** you're talking about, this is a Jets topic, so your agenda is to spin it in any way that puts a negative slant on the Jets

You mention Thomas Jones and his 1,400 yds, then conveniently ignore how he fell off of a cliff in the playoffs. FACT, LT is a better RB, PERIOD, more ability, a great receiver out of the backfield, if healthy, there aren't many like him. The guy has been on a mission ever since he joined the Jets, seeking out Tiki Barber's trainer who helped Tiki have a successful career after he turned 30, LT's problem has been his health and a changing offensive philosophy on offense, and a declining OL. I won't sit here and tell you we got a 25 year old LT, but if he's healthy, he's still a very good RB, and he is only a part of puzzle at the position for the Jets, Greene is a load with a ton of potential, and the two of them together is an outstanding 1-2 punch.

That is your problem, you don't see ****, because you're either a moron, or you're red and blue patriot goggles are all fogged up!

Jets are a talented team, a young team, a good team, and there are reasons why they've gained national attention, you know it, and this kills you.

This reads like a white flag being thrown up behind a French fortress that just got bombarded by English cannonballs during a six day siege. I'll end it here as I've made my point known and let you retire with what little social dignity you have left.

naw, dont end it..keep showing him up with actual facts and stats..you can just picture him with his pennington bobble head, at his desk punching the keys down so hard responding to you.

The sessions yield the popular and critically acclaimed singles "Suspicious Minds," "In the Ghetto" and "Kentucky Rain."
January 14 – The Soviet Union launches Soyuz 4.

January 20 – Richard Milhous Nixon succeeds Lyndon Baines Johnson as the 37th President of the United States of America.
January 24 – Martial law is declared in Madrid, the University is closed and over 300 students are arrested.
January 27 – Fourteen men, 9 of them Jews, are executed in Baghdad for spying for Israel.

January 27 – The present-day Hetch Hetchy Moccasin Powerhouse, rated at 100,000 KVA, is completed and placed in operation.
January 28 – A blow-out on Union Oil's Platform spills 80,000 to 100,000 barrels of crude oil into a channel and onto the beaches of Santa Barbara County in Southern California inspiring Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson to organise the first Earth Day in 1970
January 30 – The Beatles give their last public performance, on the roof of Apple Records. The impromptu concert was broken up by the police.

That's how badly this team sucks.

I like how many times he managed to use the word "sh!t" in one post without managing to figure out how to get past the censors.

These Jets fans aren't big on logic. They don't seem to realize that coming to a rival's messageboard and spending large amounts of time debating in a bad attempt to convince people that your team is actually good and that they are to be feared actually means that those same fans have their doubts about how good their team acually is and that they actually fear their rival more than their rivals fear them.

:bricks:

Are you aware that you guys as a fanbase have an 800+ post thread based on absolutely nothing about said ****ty team?

Why would so much time be dedicated to such a crappy team?

We did this before 2006 as well as after 2007 (before Favre came along as well). We'll crap on the Jets every year no matter how bad or good they'e supposed to be. This year is no different except the thread's length due to the fact that you guys are already offseason Super Bowl champs. Try to keep up, champ.

You're all scared, subconsciously. Time to face reality.

Scared of a 9-7 team with an average QB and little to no roster improvement other than the recruitment of names. Nah I think I'll pass.

We hang **** on the Jets because you guys suck and we earned it. It was a pretty good decade by the Patriots if you hadn't noticed.

I'll present Pats fans with this regarding Sanchez;

Last year, 15 of his 20 interceptions came in 4 games. It wasn't like he was throwing one or two picks every week consistently, he just had some disastrous games. I think that the Jets' coaching staff let him free a bit too much after his good 3-0 start. Then, when they got back to basics and limited him, the team started having success. Also, he was able to grow as a QB from being limited. He realized his role and was able to play like rookie QBs always should, especially on good teams. Manage the game.

Of course, you saw what his future is when he played his best ball of the year in the Playoffs. Stats were 4 TDs, 2 INTs, and a 90+ QB rating. And his best game of the year was in Indianapolis in the AFC Championship. That's pretty impressive to most.

So what is your response to Mark Sanchez performing better than any rookie QB in playoff history? Is he going to suck because he had 4 regular season games in which he threw 3+ INTs?

And that decade is over. The Patriots have not won a playoff game in two years.

But keep looking back on those memories, I'm sure they'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

this is an annual tradition, even if the Jersey B-team is worse than the Bills, we would still be doing this

It's easy to see why you'd like to dismiss that decade as fast as possible. The Patriots were rather dominant weren't they. Some would say the most dominant side in all of professional American sport. Must be hard being under that sort of considerable shadow with your shining light being a lost AFC Championship game. Whatever floats I suppose.

Fortunately I am confident that Patriots will finish above the Jets this season because we're better than you and the Jets suck.

If I was subconsciously afraid of the Jets, I would have an account on GangGreen or JetsInsider the way I have accounts on the Colts and Chargers forum. This past offseason, I registered an account on FinHeaven to participate in a conversation, but haven't used it yet. I don't even lurk the Jets forums. You, on the other hand, are quite the regular here. Why is that? I know it isn't for the scintillating Jets conversation that we have over tea here at PatsFans. So why do you think you're here?
