as soon as the Jets lose a two games in a row..every single fan will turn on Rex and the team.

The same could be said for every coach and team. I rememeber a few scathing articles threads about Belichick last year, especially so in the aftermath of the Colts game. No team is truly immune to that.

With that said I would like to think Rex has earned a bit of good will from last years run...so maybe week 3.

Why does it matter if people disliked him in 07? It was a lost season anyway, that team wasn't looking good no matter the coordinator.

Yes, you pimping a Jets coach that was almost universally reviled BY JETS FANS is exactly the same thing as the Patriots fans pimping Belichick after he'd had more years of seasoning post-Cleveland, especially given his extensive history as a defensive genius.

The jets fans are the biggest bunch of fairweather fans in the nfl..even if every fan base gets upset with their players or coaches after a loss, the jets fans are the front runners in all of this..and if they deny it then they suck even more then I thought.

In the meantime, Turner has gone to the playoffs in every season he's been head coach of the Chargers, and has been to an AFCCG without the need for 2 thrown games at the end of the season.

No, it's not. Given that the 99.99999999999 stuff was obviously not intended to be exact, the "grasping" is you grasping at a clearly hyperbolic number as if pointing to it diminished the point I was making when it certainly didn't. As for "lunatic Jets fan", that too covers just about 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% percent of them.

Given that Rex 'lost himself' on multiple occasions during the season, I'd say it was biased, yes. Of course, my view may be biased.
