You think the Pats didn't get offered a 1st rounder and more for JG? I honestly don't think thats the case. Whether the offers were there or not I think JG was staying in New England. I have never seen Shefter act like that, he was told emphatically that JG was going no where.

I still disagree with Gruden. I think his athleticism and upside alone make him a first rounder. I'm pretty sure just about everyone had him going on the first.

Why are you sure though? Isn't it possible we over value Jimmy? You are talking about multiple GMs of the NFL. Maybe they want the new QB on a rookie contract for 4 to 5 years. Makes a ton of sense for KC. Jimmy not coming to them to sit on the bench for a year. I just think everyone here over valued Jimmy.

You don't think jimmy's better than those two guys? I do. His ceiling's higher and he has learned under the best.
