I find it funny that people still put any stock in pre-season.
I have watched football for over 35 years, and trust me it doesn't mean jack!
Heck even the first few games of the regular season don't tell you much either.
The Jets offense was God awful at times the last 2 seasons, and they still got to the AFC Championship. I hate the Jets with a passion, but if the Pats fans here are going to look at a few pre-season games and say the Jets are going to suck either have the homer glasses on, or don't really know much about football.

Horrible, why bother posting, you are as about as fair and objective as Peter King.

Admittedly that was a heads-up play by Sanchez to recognize the single coverage, and a quality throw to a spot where the defender had no chance of making a play and Burress was the only player that had a chance to catch the ball.
Now having said what I just said, I need to go vomit, take a shower, and de-louse myself.
Because it doesn't matter, the Jets still suck.

It would exist even were the jets to succeed at something, which they can't (reference Jets Suckdom, paradox and oxymoron).
Strange fom that angle he doesn't appear to have control. Guess it's preseason for the officials too.
They did review it, but all the TV angles you couldn't see the ball when he went to the ground. He might not have had control of the ball, but his back was to the camera.
I know, I was watching. Couldn't miss the push-off on all the replays either.
I think maybe you are missing the intent of this thread. The title should be a give-away but to expand, this is just a place to post jets suckdom in all forms including any far fetched, unreasonable or even entirely made up assessments. This is because jet suckdom is pervasive. It defies all reason and thwarts all attempts to remove it. It would exist even were the jets to succeed at something, which they can't (reference Jets Suckdom, paradox and oxymoron). Therefore, preseason play an integral part of and contributor to jet suckdom for the purposes of this thread.
Jerricho Cotchery: Cotchery shows no signs of back injury
Jerricho Cotchery - WR - PIT - Aug. 18 - 10:25 pm et
Jerricho Cotchery caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles in the Steelers' second preseason game.
Cotchery showed no ill-effects from offseason back surgery. He functioned as Byron Leftwich's top receiver while Antonio Brown worked with Ben Roethlisberger in three-wide sets. The Steelers have more depth at the position than ever this year. Aug. 18 - 10:25 pm et
Mason is a loser for simply missing out on the fun, as a knee injury kept him out of the game. After posting three catches for 21 yards in the Jets preseason opener, Mason watched from the sidelines as everyone from Plaxico Burress to Santonio Holmes to Dustin Keller got involved in the aggressive passing attack.
With the strong outings of Burress and Keller, not to mention the Jets' preexisting run-first emphasis, it's uncertain if there will be enough targets to go around for Mason. His role as the new slot receiver (replacing the departed Jerricho Cotchery) is a bit of a departure for the career possession receiver, who is used to playing in two WR sets.
Despite the uncertainty of his role, Mason has had high spirits since entering training camp, even jumping on Coach Ryan's "Super Bowl or Bust" bandwagon. If his knee injury turns out to be minor, he will have a few more preseason games to situate his role among the other members of the Jets' passing game. At age 37, however, it is hard to expect a lot from Mason in a brand new system, with very little time to catch-up.
