Mark my words. If they trade for JG they will get a ton of grief but by week 4 of 2017 teams will be calling it a smart move. JG is going to be a solid starter. Give him a decent OL and some WRs. Keep him healthy and he will produce in this league unlike Brock and some other guys.

If the browns offer two first round picks than i don't know how you turn that down. If they keep him that means he will be our QB after next year. Idk how bill doesn't look to trade him for the right package

Nothing has changed its either trade JG this season or he is the future QB of the Patriots. 1 or the other basically. I cant see any other reasonable situaiton unless they franchise him next year and then trade him.

Because you are underrating the value of a backup that can still give us a reasonable shot at a championship if Brady goes down. Or sub for Brady if he is out with a minor injury for a bit without us losing any chance to grab HFA.

Look at how the Raider's season fell apart in one moment.

If the Browns are offering #12 and a 2nd round pick for JG, the Pats would trade him.. unless they are planning on keeping JG for the long term. Its pretty damn simple. Nothing else makes sense.

I think it's pretty obvious, given how Belichick has managed this organization over the past 17 years, that they are planning to transition to JG after the 17 season.

People will go crazy for a year or two and 5 years later hail BB for his foresight and genius

Yeah it does sound steep but then we'd have an incredible secondary and a guy Brady is going to play pitch and catch to all season long.
