The City of Saint Louis says hi!
Hi St. Louis!!

35 years ago, you would have been an improvement for the Patriots net value (who were #28 of 28 teams and playing in a high school facility) but today you are dreaming if you think you could ever possibly raise the net value of the #3 most valuable NFL franchise!! There's a reason you've lost 2 NFL franchises in the past 40 years or so!!

Bye St. Louis!!

This team becomes more unlikeable by the ****ing day...Mayo has empowered these ****ing idiots to speak "their truth"....they can go **** themselves for the most part...or go off and have cocaine and hooker party with Jabril Peppers or a happy ending massage with Krafty Bob
I don’t think I can support this team until some of these guys are gone, coach included. It’s not the losing. It’s this culture they’ve built. This is coming from me who in my opinion I’ve been a pretty rational fan during my time here. This team is ugly, period.

From Reiss's ESPN article: "It hasn't gone the way that any of us have wanted it to go," Mayo said. "Steve Jobs had a quote where you have 'winning years' and then you have 'character-building years.' This has been one of those character-building years that I'll always remember."

Makes sense that we are quoting corporate America rather than Vince Lombardi.
I'm fine with the quote..the problem is I don't see any character being built.

Maybe I am out of touch but I feel like this just doesn't make sense.

Option 1) Keep the black coach because he is black, even though he is really bad at his job; team continues to erode, stadium is largely empty on game day; team becomes totally irrelevant and gets no primetime games

Option 2) Fire black coach for doing a bad job and hire a good white coach; team returns to playing quality football and relevancy; gets several primetime games; makes playoffs in 2025 or 2026

You're telling me that Option 1 is what will get Kraft into the HOF, not Option 2?
Yes DEI is still at top of priority list in NY offices
Stadium will not be empty next year

I'm fine with the quote..the problem is I don't see any character being built.
I want leaders in that locker room. I get we aren’t going to be good every season but I don’t see one guy right now where I can confidently say thats the leader of the team. Maye is too young for that so I can’t pick him.

The fans have paid for the seats. The money from the eyeballs in the stands + those on the tube are responsible for the $ in Tavai’s pocket. He is being paid millions to play football and he wants booing fans to know their place ?

Perhaps he needs to look in the mirror. And worry more about winning and less about booing.

Given a second chance Tavai dig himself even deeper in the hole today

It’s too bad we don’t have a Tom Brady or Julian Edelman in that locker room.

The pro football HOF voters aren't from NY.
"Contributors" aren't selected the same way players are. The NFL office is going to hold tremendous sway with the special "Blue Ribbon Committee" that selects contributors.

There is the mentality of this team. Accept losing and make clever quotes.
Mayo should be watching film to figure out why his OC can’t get receivers open, or his DC can’t figure out how to stop the run. Mayo should be showing the players who are sucking what they are doing wrong. Mayo should be giving instruction, and assignments to his assistant coaches.
These would improve the team.

Looking up quotes to give to make it sound better then it is should not be what he is wasting his time on.
Given the state of this team he can’t spare 4 seconds on shot like that.

Mayo epitomizes my long time description of a bad manager. A bad manager holds a meeting says what he wants done vaguely then goes back in his office and closes the door and says”Ii fixed that problem”

Tavai will walk back his comments, but his apology will be 5-10 yards behind of where it should have been.

I am sure Tavai would be making the money that he is making if fans were just civil, casual observers
