Same here. I can respect a player and his abilities, especially someone like Pouncey. But for the Steelers & Steeler Nation? I'm sorry, but my giveadamn's busted.
No, just for his unfortunate victim(s.)Not even for their rapist quarterback?
Steelers lost a third player for the season. Looks like they'll be looking for a running back.
Steelers lose Stephens-Howling for season | ProFootballTalk
Let's give them Blount for a 3rd rounder!!!!!!
Zero sympathy for the *****hole Steelers, their *****hole self-righteous organization, and their even more *****holish fans.
So no, I don't feel sorry for them one tiny bit.
am I the only one who is sick of having a ton of picksfor the future years when you can have a good player now
That's a great point. DeCastro was going to wreck someone's knee on that play.
That TN defensive lineman is fortunate that DeCastro's aim was off and he took out Pouncey instead.
It really looks like he aimed for Pounceys leg from the gif. He isn't even close to hitting the DL.
Also, I should point out that that's a penalty even if he does that to the defender. Can't go low on a guy who is engaged. Just an all-around stupid play by DeCastro.
It won't be remembered like the buttfumble or Leon Lett, but when you think about it, this should really rank among the worst plays in NFL history.
Abysmal. It's the worst play I've ever seen. He just lost his team 2 or 3 games in a single play.
I keep thinking about it...plenty of players have accidentally taken out a teammate. (Paging Stephen Neal!) But I can't ever remember a guy taking a helmet-first dive straight at a teammate's knee -- a play that looked deliberate and dirty, but toward the wrong laundry. Crazy.
