I hope the positions are fixed now and they start to have some continuity in practice. I would want sow to take all reps he can at right tackle to see if he has it in him to be decent . Even if he is average , might make sense to keep him at RT and learn the ropes while substituting reiff if necessary to help him out. Mafi to be right guard till Onwenu comes back from injury and promptly pushed to guard backup.

I don't think Anderson is going to be available this season. So more we have Mafi and sow play better it is for next year and for depth purposes. Hopefully Andrews, strange and brown solidify the other side and we have a blocking TE for extra support on right side .

It was reported that he wanted the OC title. I can't imagine he'd pass up the opportunity to be OC even if it was on the remaining year of his contract. If he wanted the title and a new contract with multiple years I can see the hesitation, but there had to be someone better qualified to run an offense than Patricia and Judge.

BB should be held accountable for his own failings as a coach on the offense. He should have spent almost the entirety of his efforts on the offense last year.

Great point. Big jump from MAC to the NFL and big jump from left guard to right tackle, and he looked OK last Thursday. We might have a RT starting in 2024. Now we need a dominant LT to replace Trent Brown, and assuming a few rookie guards (Mafi, Andrews) are OK, we should be fine.

He looked great Thursday’s night against the Texans 1’s. He’ll be fine as long as he stays on his current path.

Onwenu, Strange and Brown will start ramping it up and eventually join the starting unit…. then all the hand wringing and consternation here about the O Line will have been over nothing.
