Jacobs honestly looks solid here. You’re gonna lose against Bosa sometimes no matter who you are. A lot to like.
Demontry is their only hope at solid line play, they really need him to work.

There's no other scenario at left tackle that helps them improve, short of kicking Sow out there when Strange returns... if he returns.

If they put Lowe back in at left tackle when he gets healthy the entire offensive coaching staff should be fired.

Should this mindless swap of positions be stopped now and move people back to original positions of strength .

With the increase in injuries, it looks like poor conditioning and poor techniques are causing more injuries on the offensive line along with not establishing any continuity.

Chuks(LT) - out of position
Lowe(LT)
Wallace (LT)
Andrews( C)
Sow - 3 games missed

Add to that we are playing onwenu out of position and Robinson is just not ready. We should stop the onwenu experiment at RT and probably bring in any veteran or PS player who has started at RT. They might be on par with what onwenu is doing at RT. At least we might get better RG play.

Let leverett get accustomed to center position and also Jacobs. I feel strange will be traded next off season or be a swing guard .

Strange and Thornton both busting out makes 2022 draft also a recurrence like 2019. Thank you Bill for the memories.

Totally agree the majority of the issue is Brissett. It’s like 51% Brissett and 49% OL.
There's another component here, and that's play calling. My percentages look like 40% offensive line, 25% Brissette, 35% play calling.
The play calling is not adapting to what the defenses are doing - especially mixing in no-huddle early when the blitzes begin, and rarely using misdirection plays when the DL are pinning their ears back on 2nd or 3rd and medium. On so many of those 2nd and 7 or 3rd and 5 plays the running plays depend too much on RS breaking tackles, when misdirection plays could run a receiver into the open space left by the pass rushers.
Of course, I am now of the opinion that playing Drake Maye out of the shotgun that he was superb at in Chapel Hill with this receiving corps is the clear choice. Hooper and Henry at TE would be lethal with Drake getting the ball out quick.

Sow can't really pass block that well as a OG. He is better than Olayden Robinson though
