If I were the Skins I wouldn't give up the #15 pick, but would be willing to give up a 2nd plus. The loss of Alex Smith does have them over a barrel so to speak, so their loony owner could force the issue and agree on sending their 1st. My guess is if a 1st goes, we could see some pick swapping to help water down the cost for the Skins. Maybe a 1st and 5th go, and Rosen and a 3rd come back, or some mixture along those lines. It just seems steep to pay up pick #15 for a guy who went 10th last year, and is no longer a part of the Cardinals future. Not to mention how Rosen looked last season.

Do you believe that Redskins would be better off with Haskins or Lock? My guess is that few would have strong objections to their analysis, if they we're to draft one of those two at 15. The objection is when they draft last year's #10 at $2M a year.

If the analysts are right, four teams are interested in Rosen. Obviously, that might not be so. The Redskins and the others will all decide. We'll see what the market brings.

I disagree on the last part, assuming they pick Murray. Not only would Rosen be a distraction the entire year, he'd be a descending asset as a back up.
No, IF Murray is the AZ pick, then Rosen will be dealt.

And because they HAVE to deal him, they won't get as much back as he's probably worth. Just as the comp for JG was less than he actually was worth because the Pats HAD to trade him, or watch him walk. Rosen can't walk but the situation of having him and Murray on the same team just isn't feasible in the real world.

Now you are right on Washington being an obvious choice. More in need of an immediate fix, and higher picks. So THEIR 2nd is worth more, as well as every other pick in every round. But stranger things have happened. their offer might not be THAT much better....if they make one at all. Maybe their happy with Keanum and McCoy for a season or two. Maybe they want to "wait until next year". Maybe AZ would rather take a BIT less from the Pats and get him out of the conference.

Of course maybe the Pats don't like Rosen, or maybe they think its still a year too early to use considerable draft capital on a QB, and THEY want to "wait until next year". Now THAT is a lot of "maybe's" Though Rosen is certainly a great off season talking point for us.

If Washington has their first in the conversation and they should honestly we have no chance unless we badly want him and offer a ransom.
I think Will Grier or Jarret Stidham could do well here.
My gut tells me he's a Redskin and Giants draft Haskins or Lock.
