Agree with the overall point, but in the case of the Falcons I think it was exhaustion more than anything else.

Oh I agree. Sometimes fatigue can be overcome by the mind however when momentum is on your side. Like a second wind.

When a super bowl starts slipping away I’d bet that it makes it even worse. Nothing will sap your energy faster than that drowning feeling.

The mind is powerful.

He better not but I highly doubt we would purposely lose a game just to avoid 16-0, and I don't think it would be good for the morale of the lockeroom if we are 14-0 with the top seed lock and just bench starters, in years past we always kept our foot on the gas and I don't see that changing.

I, um, don't think we have to worry about that one now...or about 15-1...or 14-2...
