Yes, the offense had over 400 yards and held the ball for almost 37 minutes. The D held Rivers to his 2nd worst game of the year and except for the long TD, played well.

If Ghost hit those two FG, I think people would feel better about a 27-13 win than they are about a 21-13 win.
They'd still *****

On the other hand, the last drive by the offense was really good - ate the clock, finally hit the seam route to Gronk and got points. Basically ended the game.

Which brings it all back to knowing how to win.

They don't look like a SB team thus far. Fortunately, neither does any other team.

I assume they'll be staying in Denver for a week before going to Mexico. Anyone hear anything about that?

They're getting there. Today's win was without Gilmore, Brown and Rowe. Shea McClellin will be able to play the next game. We should find out next week if either VV or MM are coming off of IR. Point being is we still haven't seen the finished product yet and they're 6-2 at the break. They still could be the best team at the end of season. We'll see.

Don't expect much from McClellin

Anyone gone back and looked at that Chargers OPI play? I'd like to see a replay of that and see if that was a good call.

I'll throw it up in the rewatch thread once the all 22 comes out. But from what I saw in the replay the charger's receiver made contact before Chung.

Well I hope so, would feel better about that call not that I really care that much but better about the defense at least.

I'm waiting for them to release the broadcast video. When they do I'll post a screenshot of the contact and tag you in the post.

:/ I missed most of this one. But I do like that the scoreboard says nice defense.

I did manage to see the second Gostkowski miss and the Hogan injury, so maybe it's better for all of us if I just read about it here... nahhhhh...

So let the trade talk begin (some more!) Tuesday evening can't get here soon enough. Wednesday? Whenever.

YAYYYYYY whoever we pick up, we didn't really need it if we don't, etc.

Am I the only one that gets driven crazy by the blocks in the back penalties? More than half the time they wouldn't even make a difference to the play and they are easy to see and call.

I'm not talking about the special teams plays when the block is borderline between side and back - I'm talking about the block in the middle of the guy's back like we saw today with Solder on that big play.
I truly believe the Goondell towels had a lot to do with the excessive penalties.

The Pats have been too good, for too long, for the owners club to tolerate. IMO

Thought they would win good game coaches has it right.
