That wasn’t the point. The point was whether spending a year on IR even if he isn’t injured is best for him.
He surely has a choice to dispute his IR status if he is healthy.
I think that's the route the Team will take unfortunately. Polk's salary is guaranteed this year and next:we couldn't trade him for a bag of rocks.

They can’t put him on ir if he isn’t injured.

Rong: check the BB files during the Dynasty years: there's a flu going around in Foxborough MA.

That’s a fallacy.
Polk doesn’t have to accept IR if he isn’t injured.

Please let's stop wasting keystrokes on Polk it's nauseating.
I’d recommend you take your own advice because you are wasting key strokes saying things that are wrong.

AJ: I bet you he will: Polk comes off to me has that kind of guy. The Patriots can outright cut him and eat his dead money. Better WR's than Polk will be available at cut down.

You know him personally?

What you are arguing is that Polk will agree to take a year off of football and dismantle whatever career he may have because of the difference between the non guaranteed portion his 1.2 million salary (approx 85% of his contract is guaranteed) and what he would sign for with another team or earn on a practice squad.

If he is cut he earns the guaranteed portion, probably about $1,000,000 of the 1.2 and gets to keep playing football somewhere.

Your hated of the dude is bizarre. You now want to argue he will quit football for basically nothing in return, and go through a conspiracy theory fraudulent process to do so

Given all of that why would the Patriots want to.

I don't hate him but he has sucked up to this point. We have seen this all too often with young Patriots WR's: especially during the BB years boring *yawns*.

Sucking at WR in his rookie year does not translate into making a stupid decision about your career. You stated he is the kind of guy that would do that. What don’t base that on other than being angry at him for sucking and trying to pile on?
I hate the guy too, but I don’t let that cloud my judgment and accuse him of being a moron who would make bad decisions about being forced to sit out a year for no reason.

Wouldn’t it have just been easier to say “yeah going in IR wouldn’t be a good thing from his perspective” rather than digging in and defending a flippant comment you know is wrong?

I have moved on from Polk and so should you. I'm on the Kyle Williams and Efton Chism.

Then why do you keep posting about him?
This is your 7th post about him today in a thread devoted to him, and you jumped right in at 4:22 AM.
That’s not what moving on means.
