So all we need to do is beat Miami and Buffalo so we can get absolutely demolished in the first round and lose a few spots in the draft? Sign me up.
That's what I'm saying we have no chance against Buffalo on the road. Buffalo is playing for HFA. We have too many holes to fill on Offense we the Draft position and picks.

this pats team doesnt understand what a must win gsme is or what is controlling your own destiny. They wouldnt lateral on the last play of a tie game if they did.

I think Buffalo would go for the win and revel in keeping the Pats out of the playoffs. I’m sure a bunch of people within that organization still remember how the Pats used to dominate them every single year and wouldn’t mind screwing with NE, but I can see both arguments.

Pats have to beat Miami first though and I don’t think that happens.
Yeah, I don't buy this at all. If they try to win it won't have anything to do with trying to stick it to the pats. They couldn't care less about a team they know they are far superior than. We are years removed from when we used to dominate them.

Lol, very true...also don't forget the Packer game which we should have won. We are very, very close. I like the resiliency we showed yesterday in the 2nd half. We are due to win one of these games. So close!!!!!!

They could use a talent boost at a few positions but this team was talented enough to win 10, 11 games.

CIN might be better than KC and BUF. Don't get faked out by that flukey second half against the Patriots. CIN already beat KC and they have a shot at BUF next weekend.
Their RT is done for the season and their OL was already suspect.

Playoffs are still entirely feasible which is amazing after these two devastating losses. I just want to be pleasantly surprised next week.

Maybe KC or BUF, not CIN. We nearly beat them, they are not smoking anyone.
In my opinion our DEFENSE is better than BUF, and KC, even though Joe Brady made some plays on us, defense made some plays as well. Just my opinion

Bills could still get the number 1 with a loss to Cincinnati.

It would require Bengals losing to Baltimore. Then, KC loses to Vegas.

Everything is dependent upon what time these games are on.

It's unlikely Buffalo would go into the NE game already knowing the results of the Cin & KC games.

Ahahaha. This PSA had me cracking up! Thank you!

The Patriots making the playoffs now would require the Patriots offense to miraculously come to life against two of the best offenses in the AFC East. Sorry to break it to you but that horse is officially DEAD. We're not riding it to victory against any actually good teams!

Do you really see Mac Jones outdueling Tua when he can just throw to studs like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle all day long? Or how about Mac Jones taking on Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs and outscoring the Bills in Buffalo?

As much as the bucs suck this year I miss having a QB that gave me hope despite the odds. No matter what, I always had some hope when we had brady at QB. Even if it didn't look pretty or promising I knew as long as the game was within reach we could win any game.

Realistic: Patriots 7-10

Don't fool yourself.

I don't think anyone is fooling themselves into believing anything about this team; most seem to acknowledge they have some issues. There are, however, people who choose to remain engaged with meaningful games remaining and root for the team's success, despite their struggles to this point.

Our fans and media talk about how rough the season has been, as if we've absolutely been going through it, yet the team controls their own destiny for the postseason and have a 7-8 record. Looking around the league, 7-8 is pretty middle-of-the-road. The vast majority of teams are +/- 1-2 games around .500.

It's almost like we're a bit spoiled and things aren't as bad as many would have you think they are.

Not to say the offensive coaching is good enough, but a 7-8 season isn't a dark-age.

Yeah, I mean the Pats almost pulled it out so good for them, but the Bengals did the thing lots of teams do—huge lead, go in at halftime, it’s cold out, they basically felt the game was over.

One of Belichick’s strengths over the years was making sure the team kept its foot on the gas and not letting that happen.

Would you sign Brady in 2023 if he wants to come back? and let BB focus on coaching defense and special teams. I think they are both in a phase where they need each other.

Well it's a huge advantage having an all-time clutch quarterback like Brady on your side. Look at what he's doing in Tampa Bay even in a disappointing season. He's dragging a horribly coached, injury riddled, and completely uninspired team into the playoffs with his late game clutchness. The Bucs have won 3 games now where they completely scrap the game plan and Brady entirely runs the offense in the no huddle.

The thing about repeatedly getting kicked in the nuts is after a while its not possible to feel any more pain. How in gods name are we still in with a shout of the playoffs? Its like someone is trying to extend the misery for maximum effect.
