Pittsburgh fans agitated at Brady... over this?

I can't speak for anyone else but I personally wouldn't care for reasons already stated, but to re-iterate, there's only one cup.

If Derek Jeter was holding the Pats Lombardi trophies, yeah that would probably annoy me.

To be honest, if Jeter posed with the Bruins cup I'd be ok with it. Now anyways, time has a funny way of changing the way we look at some of these athletes we were bred to dislike. Jeter was one of the greatest shortstops ever to play baseball and looking back, a true professional like the goat Mr Brady is.

Just can't hate the guy anymore, greatness recognized. Hopefully some of these other fans and media stooges will come around and realize how petty these false excuses are and recognize Brady for what he is. The greatest QB to ever play. At the least, the greatest of this era.

they are a bunch of excuse making whinny *****es. However, if Peyton Manning took a photo with the Bruins Stanley Cup i think we would be upset too.
Naw, we'd say that was yet another trophy that he's not getting ever again.

Now, if ELI did that it'd be hard to squish down the butt hurt, that guy caused us some serious rage. But I'd try because I'm better than that.

I'm pretty sure it's all the Lombardi's he's had his picture taken with they're pissed about not the Stanley Cup. Especially 01, 04 and 16.

Oh man, imagine being part of a fanbase who loses their **** over every little perceived slight. That must be crazy!
Hey....we just consider it as having a chip on our shoulders. Big difference.

If the Bruins won the Stanley Cup and Rapistberger was photographed with it people here would go absolutely bugf##k. Piss burgh fans are largely ***holes. Us?
To be fair, Ben Rapistberger WOULD pose with the Cup. Why? Not like he'll ever pose with a Superbowl trophy again. It'd be his last picture with a major league trophy. Poor Ben!

I didn't compare a rapist to Tom Brady, or vice versa, and you suggesting I did is absolute horseshit. If you want to disagree with me, that's certainly your prerogative, but that post is way, way out of line and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Then can you break this down for me?

It reads like you're saying if Ben did the same thing, New England fans would react a similar way as Pittsburg fans.

That's comparing Brady to Big Ben the rapist in my book

Maybe he was just admiring the six Bruins teams on the cup and thinking "six is a nice number."

They've had 3 chances to beat the Pats in the AFC title game, 2 of them at their place, and they couldn't even come close to getting the job done. They should be mad at their own team. Whiny, entitled, douchebags.. basically all Pittsburgh fans.

One of them in the upper seats threw a plastic bottle at me as I was leaving.

He was incomplete.

Then your book is f##### up (as you are on this one) and English can't possibly be your first language, particularly in written form. Hey, history here has shown that I like a lively give and take as much as anyone and I know you do, also. But, you crossed a line, at least in my opinion, by suggesting I compared Brady to a rapist. I didn't and anyone reading what I wrote who went successfully past the second grade would agree. You and I both know that NE fans would, for sure, go bugf### if Ben did the same thing here, and I'd likely be one of them. In conclusion, since I'm guessing you perhaps (but, I'm not sure) went past second grade successfully, I can only conclude that you were intentionally and willfully misrepresenting what I wrote. But then, of course, that's no surprise. You do it all the time to people here.

Over react much?

Do you believe Ben committed rape?

I do

to be fair, and this clearly isnt the case here, but there is a cardinal rule with the Stanley Cup.

Unless you have won the Cup before, you do not touch the Cup

Of course he did, you dope, multiple times. Are you even reading what I've written? Your responses to my posts here indicate to me one of two things: you're either intentionally obtuse or you're really f###### stupid. Prior to this exchange, I'd have leaned heavily toward the former. Now, I'd bet loads of money on the latter. P.S. Re: your question, above, if you'd bothered to read any of my posts, but specifically my first one you'd have noted I called him " Rapistberger." And you still asked the question above? Your honor, the defense rests...

I have seen this belief repeated many times with this Brady incident, but it just isn't true. People have said Brady hasn't earned the right to touch the Cup, but that's silly. *EVERYONE* touches the Cup. People line up to touch the Cup at public events all the time.

What you are absolutely not allowed to do is lift the Cup up over your head (unless you have won it). That's the cardinal rule.

Some probably would, I guess. I wouldn't personally care. ****, Ben could borrow 3 of our Lombardis for a day just to see what it feels like to have 5 and I wouldn't care about that either.

Tell that to the droves of people who I see mugging with it on my Facebook feed every single day. Local bars, pizza shops, the mall down the street, etc.

as long as you don't let Joe Namath anywhere near the cup I don't care if Dorothy Hamill on a camel smacks lips on the cup.

Before I explain, let me say I was wrong and I apologize.

I read your original post as you saying Pats fans would feel the same way if Rothlesberg did the same thing.

Yes you referred to him as Rapisberger, but it didn't click. I think it's because I was thinking you were trying to make a valid comparison.

Or purposefully being obtuse?

But you were kidding. I'll repeat, I was wrong and I apologize.

Fun fact: Hamills ex husband was Dean Martin's son (sinced deceased)

On a camel? LOL.

What a vision..

Thank you. I'm not sure you yet understand what my intended point was, but it wasn't earth-shakingly critical to the future of our planet. You deserve credit for admitting you were wrong and apologizing. I also apologize for my insulting terminology. Onward and upward.
