Patterson an RB?
Allen caught a pass??
Cats and dogs sleeping together??!!
Good for you.Posted a mea culpa above bruh
I was surprised by Allen's wheels when he caught that pass in space. Plodder he is not. Disappointing that he's never been able to be anything more than a blocker for the Patriots.
It’s really to our benefit that we do. Two pass catching tight ends makes us better.I have a feeling we may see him getting a couple more targets in the second half of the season.

Except the trade deadline is passed.Detroit is apparently in fire sale mode. Wonder if we could bring back LG Blount back for one last ride...
Don’t think it would cost much.

If we had Patterson and James White in the backfield together and then quickly shifted out to a five wide, it'd be hell on a defense, wouldn't it? With Edelman, Gordon, and Hogan at WR, Patterson is the worst of the five receivers, but do you really feel comfortable with an LB on him?
Yup.. the dis crowd must be put off by the hairdo. Really a perfect role player with versatility that can be utilized by creative play design. This is actually a requirement in the NFL that belichick usually exploits by adding different looks and formations. Especially when it's needed. Um like watching 3 RBS go down injured. The cool thing is when you try something that is caused by injury and then you find success. I think this is called addition by subtraction. We shall see..
Hopefully this was his breakout game...I was surprised by Allen's wheels when he caught that pass in space. Plodder he is not. Disappointing that he's never been able to be anything more than a blocker for the Patriots.
There's a reason I am not the head coach of the NE Patriots...He wasn't terrible - he did what they asked him to do. I still think it was a stop-gap experiment based on the opponent. No way they are trotting out Patterson against Green Bay (or if they are, we are in big trouble). Did anyone else have visions of Laurence Maroney while watching Patterson? Standing too tall with dreadlocks flying. LOL.
