I think you may be referring to ILB Eric Alexander if you’re associating it with 2006 and the conference game loss to the Colts.I guess I’ve forgotten that he played so poorly in that 06 championship game.
Gary Guyton was in the 2009–2011 era. Both were bad at their positions so it’s easy to mix them up, just like the O’Neill/Starks examples for CBs. Personally, I can appreciate the choice of Alexander, but I’m a bit confused with the Guyton one. I think there were plenty of other bad LBs that I’d think of first, although he definitely wasn’t very good.
