Patriots Have Called on Jeudy

So I did some college football career digging on Jeudy and Mac Jones.

Turns out that they were together on the Alabama squad in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

However Mac Jones didn't become the full time starter for the Tide until 2020 so I don't believe they have a lot of reps together.

But maybe the alumni connection could pay off in establishing trust quicker? Dunno but it's interesting to think about.

Especially if Denver will realize the market isn't there for Jeudy and deals him to the Patriots for that 2nd rounder + package we've been discussing.

I looked for the same…It was my impression Mac and Jeudy had a decent amount of snaps together in 2019.

I wouldn't offer even a 3rd & 4th for him now unless we get a 5th in return, and only on the condition that they pick up his option before the trade aannd theeennnnnn eat at least 1/3 of that option before sending him to us.

I may be crazy but I think I’d still take my chances trading a #2 and #4 pick for the guy. I still have the “Sanu Shivers” due to a waste of a #2 pick and when I hear the name “N’Keal” I recall that #7 draft pick we got straight up for that #1 pick. Jeudy is quick, can catch, and has decent size and was picked by Elway / yeah if I was a betting man I’d place my chips on him…

Denver doesn't have either a 1st or 2nd, and McVay wants one. If they feel they have sufficient depth without Jeudy, and are likely to lose him after next year anyway, then a trade could still happen.

There's no more Browns option. Plus we have either a player like Bourne or maybe a 6th rounder to throw in. Also the Jets deal with the Browns (Moore for a swap of a 3rd for a 2nd) just lowered the price.

Like I admitted - I may be crazy but just got a hunch about this guy. Moore will never be a #1 WR at 5’9” where Jeudy at 6’1” still has a chance to prove himself.
