Just got done playing around with some things and threw this together:

Yes - there's going to be a little sidebar thing on the right that will update each day and a link to that page. I just haven't added it yet.

Quick bump on this. The new sidebar for this is in place, and I fixed an issue after I tweaked it and apparently broke the layout. Should be working fine now.
