Green is still on the roster? Hopefully not for much longer. That kid was awful.

I am sure Mesko will have plenty of suitors lining up for him. I have a feeling he will land on his feet somewhere especially if he is not subject to waivers.

I'd be willing to bet that within 15 minutes he has at least 15 offers.

My shock is over, hopefully the use the money to sign Seymour.

I suspect the fact that Mesko was in his final contract year was a bigger factor than the cost. Allen is cost-controlled for the next 4 seasons.

Three seasons. If he shows anything significant the next three years, they'll have to give him a second-round tender, which means the Pats will be right back in this scenario in 2016 (his putative RFA year).

Evidently, that is reason Jake (invisible man) Bequette is still somehow on the roster after Benard, Forston and Cunningham (people who, you know, can actually make football plays) are gone.

LOL -- I noticed I'd typed 4 after I hit submit, but figured "who will notice anyway"? Busted.

Yep, just 3 years dirt cheap. But that's still a very different story from having to look for a punter off the street after this season. Remember how long the Pats wandered in the FA wilderness in search of a serviceable punter?

I'm intrigued to see who/if they sign from other teams' castoffs. Pats reportedly still have $13 million in cap space.

My take on it is that it's good news for the interior pass rush. Kelly impressed, and they must be high on Bequette (though I don't see why) and Armstead.
