Weather forecast has deteriorated slightly.

On Sunday evening after the Phins game the forecast for next Sunday (see below) was partly cloudy with a high of 45 and winds 10 to 15, dropping to a nighttime low of 27 and winds 5 to 10. Now the day is chillier, and rainy early, with winds picking up in the evening.

Seems some fairly weak weather maker is moving through. I’d expect the forecast to continue to change, most likely following the trends over the past several days. So, continuing to be less hospitable to a fair weather team from balmy Southern California.

Might be getting into low 30s by game time.

Here’s that forecast from three days ago:

Unless it's extreme, don't think it makes much difference ... 27, while chilly, ain't that bad... If it were 10 degrees, different story

Okay, apropos of very little., "scuttled" is a word, the past tense of "scuttle," which means to dispose of a ship, involving (I believe), its sinking. (somebody check me on this - if you scrap the ship on land is it still scuttled?)

Herbert $24M base salary, $46M cap hit.
But, team wise, they only have 36 players under contract for next year/26 ( to contrast Pats w 50 under contract & $46M /eff 41M cap space). So a lot of that $103/eff86M cap space for LAC goes away just getting to 53, let alone 90.

See I don't think so. I think the Pats are superior to the Chargers. They have a better coach and a better QB. That makes a big difference.

No question, and if I were a betting woman I’d bet Pats. But assuming Boutte’s out the WR corps really is shockingly thin. You can’t subtract 2 of your top 3 receivers and not affect the playbook.

I feel the game is going to center on the running game and utilize the TEs. The chargers play with a light front.. best to try and run and take the things they give underneath. That will allow Drake to stay in play action. On defense we are going to need to stop Hampton and find a way to affect Herbert up the middle.. that to me is how you affect him up the middle.. collapse the pocket.

On the game it's self it's worth mentioning the same chargers team came here on a cold December day and beat the Jerod rust patiots 40-7.. Drake was the starting QB.. I can bet you he wants some redemption.. we need to win this game for so many reasons..
