I've seen LT brought up a few times the past week but feel like I'm missing something (I wasn't watching FB closely in his prime), did he have some scuffle with the Pats or something?

Omg. Where do I start? Let's just say that to all Pats fans who were,around then, beating that Chargers team on their home field and having Rodney dance on their logo after all the stupid ****-talking they did was one of the most satisfying wins in Patriots history. And it wasn't even a SB.

Yeah, I NEVER referred to him as LT.
I only did here cuz I've had a few pops and it's easier to type then his long name.

LT anointed himself as real "classy", but a little ***** when it came to losing to Tom Brady and the Patriots. He used to say Brady was way overrated and would be forgotten. And here you are asking about LT, funny how that worked out.

Exactly. My bad, I assumed you were referring to the first link. I see now your comment was responding to the second link, which I’d not reviewed. My apologies for not looking more closely before jumping to the wrong conclusion.

The first is the one I had read thoroughly, thought well of, and used extensively. Lead author for that article was Lily Chan, who is at the University of Guelph, in Ontario. None of the authors is affiliated with any Chinese institution (see screenshot below).

I wronged you by assuming that your comment was reacting to Lily Chan as the lead author. I am terribly sorry. I apologize and will try to do better at avoiding such pejorative assumptions in the future.

The key for New England on offense in the playoffs is also the key in this game. Stevenson‘s emergence as a force the last week weeks gives up a consistent running game with big play potential. If we establish that, life for Maye will be golden. Teams will have to play more base defense to deal with the run. Without a running game, defensive coordinators can get a lot more creative and give Maye looks he has not seen. The Chargers have a good defense, but if we limit their options by running the ball, Maye will tear them up.

The defense seems fraudulent and gives me 2017 vibes. The eye test all season said they were not that good. The stats said they weren't bad. Of course, SB 52 happened and they got exposed.

I think at the time most Pats Fans & ALL Gints fans decided that BEFORE that game too. But LT was pushed down everyone throats by national media.

LdT was what I thought I (+ others?) used to try to use to differentiate. But hard to sustain when quoting.

Funny how he’s now relatively forgotten.
