Hope they have a futures deal with Reedy already lined up. Can't hurt to have a KR/PR specialist around for the preseason.

Agree.

Still have McCarron on the PS, too.

If they get the ring . maybe Id be able to ignore the fact that he didn't play even late in Jetes game w Danny taking some ugly hits..;)

I don't think Reedy was even on the active roster for either Jets game - just the first BUF game and the Mess in Miami, AFAIK.

Interesting, I guess this year Bill feels like there are more things to work on beforenthe divisional. Also, KC is the most likely opponent and is probably better than last year’s houston team.

Today also might have been the only day this week that they'll be able to practice (outdoors) -- blizzard warnings are up for 7am-7pm tomorrow (Thursday) --- 10"-16" of snow and winds gusting to 60mph.

KVN is huge for this D with Hightower gone. Absolutely huge in lining them up and handling that assignment.

FWIW, that's where I am, too. I don't want to go into the playoffs with a third-string Green Dotter.

But contemplating how much each of them would add just has me more excited about getting ALL of them back!

.....and you know damn well BB wants to practice in it.

It supposed to start snowing in Foxboro @ 4am.

I'm sure these guys must crash at the Renni or the other one near by

Poor bastards.

I mean, I'm not the type to always harp on player salaries, but I think if I was making vet minimum I'd be fine with the occasional 3am wake-up...

edit: nvm I'm dumb

It would be interesting if they were to get to play Jacksonville in such weather.

EDIT: scratch that below . he was on the PS . and I wasn't even drinking..
I wish I realized that during the game before breaking my favourite glass for keeping Danny a dummy out there..

He was. And I really didn't like they were putting Danny out there to PR even when many starters were already out and the score was unreachable. I didn't understand it, esp. since last yrs PR injury that almost costed him the rest of the season and this yrs WR injuries that will demand clutch Danny in playoffs again.

week 17 inactives: Branch (i), Burkhead (i), Gillislee (i), Hogan (i), White (i), Harris, Croston

I have no idea if Brady can get right back on the same page with Mitchell, but even if not, it seems like TB was starting to warm up to Dorsett (who I expect to do well next year with the Pats).

Mitchell and Dorsett are..not even night and day..is there something further away from night than day?

They should have plenty of time, Belichick will get them to work out and have a few meetings, then start practice at nightfall when it’s 3 inches of snow/hr., 60 mph winds, and he can keep the lights off. Just in case they have to play the AFC Championship in a blizzard with no lights.

Ultimately the question is whether they are healthy, or "healthy" the way that Edelman was when he came back for the 2015 poatseason. I'm hopeful that KVN is the one most likely to be really healthy given his status last week, and he's probably the most important of the bunch at this point.

On re-watch KVN played very careful and not full strength and he was soon replaced.
He can certainly use all of these two weeks..

On the flip side . Rap is convinced Hogan and Burkhead will be ok to play next Sat.

White should be ok, Branch never came to form so Id be careful with expectations on him. But if he can offer solid rotation and come big in certain important situations that would be enough.

Id guess MM gets activated unless there is a serious setback. Last year he bounced back quickly after Jetes game injury in week 16 and after sitting out 3 weeks and returning in AFCCG he had a great SBLI. Of course this year he didn't play a single game at NFL speed but I wouldn't count him out as contributor (hopefully) late in the playoffs.

So Pats should add KVN, Hogan and White fully in divisional game and acc. to Rapoport Burkhead at least in some capacity, Branch likewise. Maybe baptise MM some.

Looks like a real chance to have all 6 ready for AFCCG.
