I guess that's it guys. What a surreal ride. This thread has always brightened my day. I really can't believe it's over. Thank you to all of you who have contributed to this discussion over the past 2 years.

I will still be on the forum but like Ice much less active. There is really nothing left for me to follow in the NFL. I always wanted to see Brady finish his historic career and I'm glad he did. It stinks he didn't finish with the Pats but I very much enjoyed his dominate and often transcendent play in Tampa transforming people's minds at what is possible for an athlete in his 40s.

He will always remain an inspiration to me and I look forward to him continuing to kick butt in whatever he decides to do post-career.

Pump the brakes for a bit. Tom Brady has not informed the Bucs of his plans to retire. “No, he hasn’t that we know of,” Bruce Arians told me. “Agent (Donald Yee) just told us he hasn’t made up his mind.”

I’ve got the same information here. If Brady is retiring, which is very possible, he hasn’t told the Bucs yet.

Short of it coming from his personal account, can’t be more official than this on Brady’s retirement.

I'll keep hoping against hope, but it sure doesn't look good.

Everyone he's every played with likes him and respects him. Think about. No one in this chat could pull that off it would take so much mental energy to be that nice. Just ridiculous career of elite play and compromise to become the best ever, by a wide margin.
