OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Tom Brady's final numbers today: 34-for-50 for 410 yards, 3 TDs, one INT. Yardage matches 10th-most in his NFL career -- at age 44, this is his first season with three 400-yard passing games.

Tom Brady, 44, is at 4,990 passing yards after today, still tops in the NFL and second-best total of his 22-year NFL career. It's the 13th-best 16-game season total in NFL history, and none of the 12 better were age 37 or older.

Mike Evans got 47 yards today, is now at 946, so he needs 54 next week at home vs. Panthers to get to 1,000 for an eighth straight season to open his career.

That call by the Jets…QB sneak with a weak little guy in Wilson against TB’s interior line. On fourth and TWO. Lmfao.
I've been seeing stupid sh!t like that in a lot of the games. Hell, the Ratbirds are going to be out of the playoffs because the HC decided to go for two at the end of two of their losses.

That's why the full saying goes like this: Coaches don't win games, players do. Coaches can only lose them.

Ravens have usually been more lucky then unlucky until this year. Actually, they've been too aggressive in not taking the field goals or the extra points.

Remember when people said Brady was an impatient diva who was mean to young receivers like Harry and Gunner and that was why they weren’t playing well?

I remember.
Yes, we have a troll here that says that all the time

Why won’t Rodgers throw a god damn interception ffs

Brady clearly disgruntled and miserable on the sidelines.

Chase is a monster. Jamarr Chase breaks rookie WR yardage record in 16 games. 11 catches (12 targets), 266 yards, 3 TDs today

He's come a long way from the pre season criticism. He couldn't catch balls at practice and has turned that to the greatest WR rookie season of all time.

That's 5 TDs and a 1000 yards behind Tom. What a joke that he's in the lead.
The interceptions and passer rating is what making him the favorite

He was in the lead before today. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Watched the last drive again. It’s the Jets, but I really like what I saw from Grayson, and to some degree Perriman too. It’s strange that it came to this because the Bucs supposedly had all that depth. But Miller, Howard, and obviously AB have all seemingly washed out. Brate somewhat too.

The Bucs won’t be able to rely on the big play and will need to run the ball in the playoffs. They don’t have the skill players to consistently strike and will need to chip away and use playaction.

I don’t know if they can pull this off. But I do think teams will struggle if the Bucs can establish the run with Gronkowski. I’ve often wondered if the Patriots would use that pony formation (example, both White and Burkhead on the field) and I wonder if the Bucs would use it as well if they have Fournette, Vaughn, Bernard, and Bell, or at least three of those guys healthy. Jones is still a very good running back if asked only to run up the middle and power through the line. Without Brown, Godwin, and Miller, they lose 75% of their deep threats and need to adapt.

But I think their dominant offensive line, plus mauler Gronk, and having Evans take the top off the defense, is a formula for a short amoeba passing game with 3-4 competent/limited receivers consistently getting those 7-10 yard targets. We’ve seen Brady do it before. They need to work from the inside out. They need to basically copy what the Packers are doing.
