OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

same **** as last year huh the Rams are the only threat to the repeating
There's no sign whatsoever that the Bucs can solve that Saints defense.

I was really impressed with the Bucs o today. Punted twice against the second best pass D in the league without their top 3 receiving leaders.
Losing Evans and Lenny for these last three weeks of the regular season shouldn’t hurt as long Brown, Gronk stay healthy. If one of Grayson, Johnson, Perryman can stand up they can win the SB without Godwin

Well I doubt if they play again they will not lose their top 3 playmakers on offense. Oh and well they did last time they played in the playoffs.

Brown straight replaces Godwin, and the backs looked good. This was not a **** defense they played today, 2nd in the league. So yeah Evens comes back and they are every bit as good.

Arians says Grayson is a ferocious blocker which is why Grayson was WR2 over someone like Scotty Miller.

"Cyril's a ferocious blocker," Arians says of playing Grayson ahead of other receivers when Bucs were shorthanded this week. Said he's among the Bucs' most improved players at any position over last 2 years.

Carolina entered today's game ranked No. 2 in NFL in total defense, and Bucs offense put up 391 yards of total offense on the way to a 32-6 win.

Tough day for you I bet.

It was a tough day for patriots fans, yes. Last week was tough for you guys. At least we weren’t shut out…

Offensive line was outstanding again for Bucs — Brady wasn’t sacked once. Official book only credited one QB hit to Panthers in 30 dropbacks.

Good question. Before now, Bucs hadn’t made the playoffs in consecutive seasons since going four years straight from 1999-2002.

All the right teams have clinched, so Bucs now know all 17 of their opponents for 2022, including five games against defending division champs. Chiefs, Packers coming back to Tampa.

Looks like Grayson is the guy Brady will rely on to step up. I think he’s done with Johnson. Grayson looks much more confident and adept. Not sure what happened with Miller, and whether his injury is still holding him back…I imagine when your only play is a go route, losing a step will make you fairly useless.
