If he gets into the Hall, he should bring those 4 guys along the Defensive Line with him. No way he gets those rings without them.

Feast for Crows. It was only a matter of time the 2 wins were going to appease that fanbase. Not even mediocrity after 2011, just down right terrible play.

Plunkett, arguably a superior player, is not in the HOF. He doesn't belong there, either, but he belongs in before Eli. It's just two mediocrities who happened to win multiple Super Bowls.

Congrats to them on the titles. Let them enjoy the HOFs of their respective teams. But they don't belong in Canton.

I feel this way but if everyone is saying this...maybe he doesn’t.

Just because it happens all the time doesn't mean it isn't stupid.

I just don’t understand why it’s stupid. It’s just an announcement to officially announce that he’s retiring. He’s a franchise legend.

He's getting killed for it on Twitter, at least, even from Midgets fans...

Because by announcing that he will announce his retirement, he already has announced his retirement. He could have issued a statement saying a press conference is scheduled addressing his Giants status.

For the love of God, are people really going to click on that Parker article?

Minus Pittsburgh twice and KC last year, Brady has never won a championship game on the road like Eli has after all. Bart Scott territory.

It’s ok though. Patriots are still the reigning Superbowl Champs for a week and a half for all the haters.

He and Kellerman have an absolutely loathing for Boston sports and it gets in the way of them saying anything rational. It's like a Boston fan saying Jeter or Rivera suck, which is ridiculous.

The Manning name also plays a role. If he was Eli Smith or Eli Brown or Eli Plunkett, not would seriously consider him for the HOF. NY + NFL royalty covers up a lot of warts.
