Interesting…not sure I’d want him here. He’s basically 35 in another month.

Green Bay Just lost Tonyan for the season. Jackson's not a TE, but he might help alleviate the loss. The Packers should look into it.

So they trade for Stafford because their offense was limited taking deep shots down field. They sign Jackson who has been one of the best deep threats for a long time but rarely use him? Now they agree to trade him. Okay.

Maybe seeing a Cooks reunion?

This is very strange because he’s been very good this year. Unless they are gonna get a replacement this is a large step down for their offense.

How so? He’s been in around 30% of their offensive snaps and has 8 grabs thru 6 games. Granted 2 grabs went for huge gains but at this point barring injury to stafford/kupp/woods this offense will continue to roll.

Assumed Jackson was signed as Robert Woods insurance. Woods is a better all around receiver at this point in their careers but Woods is the guy who can take the top off the defense the same way Jackson does.

HARD PASS.....can't stay healthy and have to have some serious questions about a player who's walking away from a winning team. He sounds more about himself then team and winning.

Jackson had a good game against the Bucs this year, but has been basically invisible this year other than one big reception against the Seahawks. Not sure if he has all that much left. He might be worth a conditional sixth or seventh round pick. He is old and can't stay healthy. He would be best used in a handful of plays a game.

Might be the rare owner veto on this one

Sounds like a headcase...

I don’t pretend to know these guys but I’ve heard he runs with a pretty bad crowd. He’s probably got Chris Carter’s “fall guy” on speed dial.

Taking about shooting your way out of town...

How many different watch lists does this put him on?

Wonder if Krafty Bob will sign him so he can give him one of his famous tours of Israel in the off season?

This doesn't make too much sense. It's not like he's a young buck looking to secure his bag and is on a team where's he's burried behind talent... He's a vet with a specific skillset who's likely on his final year or 2 in the league. He's in a situation right now on one of the hottest teams in the league and best offenses. Gets his number called here and there.

I didn't like the character assassination attempt by Chip Kelly/Eagles on him years ago...but something certainly does seem off (beyond the racist stuff). Doesn't seem like a true team player.

I think we already have his skillset here in Agholor but Agholor offers a little more (playing slot..run blocking etc.).

Was it Jacskon who once got fined/suspended for flashing gang signs after a play? Or am I thinking of another dude?
