I don't get why Smart isn't more popular among Celtics fans.. Besides the stats you so kindly provided (nice!), just watch the games... Guy makes big, impact plays on a routine basis. Sure he's not a superstar but one of those smart, gritty guys you WANT to have on your team.

I think Smart is awesome and would rather keep him long term rather then Rozier....nothing against scary terry but smart is a disruptor and has a place on a good team the way Dennis Rodman had a place on a good team.....he is simply effective

Because he's a horrible shooter, and he doesn't know when he shouldn't be launching. When you combine that with where he went in the draft, and the money he might still command in free agency, it makes sense.
