What? He's already been CONVICTED of killing Lloyd and SENTENCED for it. Being found not guilty of killing the other two doesn't suddenly mean he didn't kill Lloyd. Put down that ganja pipe, boy.Is he though?
Wasn't the whole Lloyd case based off of AH killing lloyd because he was gonna "rat" out AH for these killings?
Well he was just found not guilty of the double murder. Doesn't that throw out this case? I'm honestly asking.
Unbelievable and oh, the irony. He supposedly killed the third guy to shut him up about his involvement in this double murder. At least the citizens of MA will not have to pay to retry him.

I didn't follow the Lloyd case very closely, so I'm not familiar with the evidence presented. But, if the conviction rested primarily on Hernandez' "motive" for killing Lloyd as a means to cover up his murder of these two men, then his Innocence in those two cases would probably represent sufficient grounds to overturn the conviction and order a retrial. His lawyer is already making news about trying to over turn the first conviction. The premise for killing Lloyd was supposedly to cover up these murders, now that he has been acquitted, he may be able to win some appeal and get a new trail.

Apparently not, thus the irony.Hernandez was riding shotgun in a vehicle, and either he or the driver (Bradley, the prosecution's sole witness) shot these two men. At the absolute minimum, Hernandez could have been nailed with accessory charges pretty easily; at the most, he's the one who actually committed the murder.
There's plenty of reason to fear Lloyd's possible testimony even if Hernandez wasn't the shooter.

Are you a local, state or federal Prosecutor or a criminal defense attorney?Prosecutors didn't charge him with accessory to murder, which is why he wasn't convicted of it. If they had filed those charges, instead of first degree murder, they would have easily gotten the conviction.

Can he now be charged with Accessory to Murder?
Murder is legal in 49 states? The gun charges are always there I guess, but I believe if he had lived in almost any other state in the country, he wouldn't have been doing anything wrong.
I don't think so. It's probably a "double jeopardy" problem. Can he now be charged with Accessory to Murder?
