Actually was proposing an upgrade in the Draft in this case Cousin.
In reference to Howard, I am still a buyer. Round?

I try to stay objective, not to have binkys. Engram is one of the last players I really fell for. Perfect Flex/Move TE.

Imagine him with Shanahan, Kittle & Deebo?! Coming out the backfield, inline, detached, slot, wide...
I can't believe a team with a good QB hasn't pounced on him.

He would be important here.

Calling Bill Belichick Bill Belichick you have a phone call

Chris Cousin, We have a conundrum here in Foxboro.
Again I am not dumping this on BB but on his lieutenants who get paid for this. In the past, getting a trade call from BB if you were another GM was the case of "I'd better cover my ass. He's up to something". The winning ways probably prevented many deals we will never know about.

Now the other personnel people know our antiquated ways of trading and Drafting have finally left the cupboards bare. Other than the posters who stones thrown at me for Trades that should have happened, now prove that some movement to obtain talent are needed here.

I am not saying the Pats personnel gurus do not have their moments like the failed AB and Josh Gordon bold moves. I applaud them for those even though they did not work out.

We all sit here waiting for Thursday with the hope that this Draft will bring us back to the top. Bits and pieces of that can help but the Draft is the long road filled with hope and tears.

I am hopeful for a great Draft. We have a lusty 12 picks. Now I will get you excited by saying many of those will make our final roster this year. The problem is that........ many of those will make our final roster this year, meaning our cupboards are so bare of talent (the Pats roster as voted by the guys in Vegas with spats and pinkie rings, say is one of the worst in the NFL minus our DBs) we will take more of a gamble to fill that roster with kids we know little about......especially this year. This is the formula the bad Teams we beat in the past use.

The average Draft class success (pro-bowl type, starter or valuable back up) is between 17%-19%. Use 36 months or three years as a fair evaluation period. Roster fillers who were Drafted and replaceable the nest Draft are not figured into the equation.

Ironically 31% of every NFL Team upon average has a roster comprised of UDFA or off the street. These are all "Draft Fails" that the so-called professionals missed on. So in the end, if you bat .190 on an MLB Team you are sent to the minors. 19% from the foul line rots too.

Yes, every few years there are Teams that have above-average Draft wins. The worst Teams "hits" are skewed as more successful because they have to keep more players to fill more holes. We've lost 12 players who had many snaps from the 2019 Team and that Team roster was fair only.

The question is we have 12 picks. In actuality, only 3 will have an impact on the Patriots by year three. BB must be prepared for this Draft over any in the last 2o years here. Let's hope we beat the curve and that 4 or 5 are top players. .....That's 4-5 from the 12 picks we have.

OK for that sermon. We lost 12 players who had significant snaps. Let's say we hit this Draft well and get 5 gradable players. Now we are in limbo. Do we pick up players off the street? Do we fill the roster with remaining Draft choices who are cannon fodder as said?

Or do we get players who "we thought best for our Team"? or some other verbiage. My point while you are still awake? Yes, if players like Engram cost a pick, they are proven and can help

My formula would be you will get at the most 4-5 platers from this Draft. Trade some of that capital for those being dangled like Engram, Carr, Howard, Curtis Samuel, Fournette, Njoku, OBJ or more. These are some we have heard about. I am sure there are others that could be dealt.

I want a successful Draft too but 4-5 of 12 would be a great Draft....now how do we gill need positions not met this week? The Draft is a crapshoot at best.

All in favor about trading for value.

Yannick Ngakoue and the son of Jacksonville's owner are fighting on Twitter.

i wonder what the jaguars want for him

Yannick Ngakoue and the son of Jacksonville's owner are fighting on Twitter.

This is a clown show. Yannick has been unhappy for years! Hasn't handled it correctly by most accounts but who knows what's going behind the scenes.

I will say Khan looks just as bad if not worse imo. Twitter has become the platform for everything/everyone these days but this isn't it. Poor look. Battling back n forth on social media during a pandemic, more importantly draft week, even on a normal day. Is a terrible play by any big shot. Send someone else to log in to fire shots if you really want. Don't jump into the world of trolling, burners & memes if you're with the suits.

Jacksonville should be ashamed of themselves for how they've handled the past few years. Khan, Coughlin & others have just wrecked that club. Dumb picks, FA moves & this bs. And it's hardly only Yannick who's been unhappy.

These team owners need deep pockets, because unless you show you can't be bullied, you're screwed.

The only smart thing to do is ignore the tantrums, & if someone doesn't show up for work, you freeze them. If someone purposely halfarses it, you bench them. Even if it means you get nothing in return. You stay strong. No other way to run a team.

Yeah looks unprofessional and embarassing. I can understand their anger about the moves they did trading or releasing almost the whole defense who was really good.

And they're going to have to get rid of Fournette sooner or later who was a top 5 pick I believe. That type of **** is a killer.

Top 5-10 guys should be cornerstones. You should look at a prospect and see 8-10 years. A valuable piece. Huge waste of a pick. Foles. Just dumb moves instead of settling on a future. You can go all and still keep a solid group after you lose your steam.

The Jags are 9-21 since they beat the Patriots in the Super....., err, week 2 of 2018... How the mighty have fallen.

Especially signing foles after the super bowl with this contract and then trading him for a mid round pick and taking that dead money. It’s seems that they don’t want to win. And giving up players who they picked that high in the first round for less value than they used to draft them doesn’t make sense to me at all
Don’t understand their moves most of the time . I mean Ramsey for two first rounders yeah ok but the other players like Campbell to the ravens for an apple plus an egg

do you think he will command significantly less than clowney?
Clowney has longer tape but has had injury issues. Like Yannick, they have a severe vision of what their worth is on the open market. Clowney wanted 20-ish as rumored. He had cut that number down by 20% and no bites. He should go to the Titans who have some CAP money but are waiting out their return on the Draft or as I call in the "Definite Maybe" show.

Clowney is the better talent and you have to game plan for him.

Every word that comes out of Yannick drives his value down. His agent should put a sock in his mouth.
When you think your feces has an aroma that is pleasant like Yannick that cash value keeps on going down.
None of these dudes are worth what they think....but that is pro sports today.

Yannick will never get Clowney money because he is a meathead.

Now the fact that these tweets could be B.S. changes everything.
