Jimmy played against starters tho.....Brissett against second stringers.....I'm not sure either is the Pats QB for the future yet
Oh for sure, that's part of it, but even so - Jacoby's got a presence that Jimmy does not. And an arm.

Biscuit looked good, he looks natural in the pocket. Even when the Panthers blitzed he just calmly waited for the defenders and released at the right time. With Jimmy it feels like he isn't even aware that a blitz is coming pre- or post-snap.

He's not really the same type of QB as Brady, but he's already got a great pocket presence. With 3 years behind Brady, I'm really looking forward to watching him develop.

I know we said these same things about Jimmy, but Brissett just seems... cool?

Offense will change if/when Brissett becomes the guy. More a downfield guy than a quick touch passer.

Brissett reminds me of Roethlisberger in terms of skill set and playing style.

IDK if there is room for Foster cause we really do need 2 big backs without Brady most likely. I think he is exactly what the pats want in a change of pace back. Equally at home running or catching and can run a full WR route tree.

Let me start by saying we haven't, and wont see Foster take any meaningful snaps. That said, his ceiling is lightyears above White's. While he may not have the between the tackles vision of say woodhead (in his prime, on draws...i miss that. Faulk as well), he seems to have the athletic ability to be able to develop it.

I was high on this kid after reading manx's take on him, and then the Twitter vids of him simply running through drills early in TC. He is way to quick not to get a look, and to me would be closer to a true Lewis replacement than White.

White cant run worth **** unless he has open space.

While on the rb topic, Gaffney looked head and shoulders above Blount, and showed some pop at contact, which was missing the first 2 games.

Randall Cunningham succeeding Tom

Josh Gordon is apparently having an absurd night, in case anyone forgot that guy is a generational freak.

He was reportedly available for a 2nd...

Brissett with plus pocket awareness there. Really impressive.

I forgot the Patriots have the best offensive skill position player in football for a hot second because he hasn't played a minute in the preseason.

Brissett has much better pocket awareness than Garrappolo.

Gaffney has a nick. May be done for the night.

I am not sure i wanna show case Foster. I like what i saw but why show him off too much. The more we show the harder to slip through. I think if we give the ball to him too much he is gone.

Jon Jones is a good gunner with upside at CB. 6 CBs seems likely.

If Gaffney goes on IR again this year I might have to give up on my Adrian Peterson comparisons.

I think he let's it go much easier. JG seems like is thinking about it. In fairness to him he is under a different kind of pressure. But, Brisset looks like a real nice find.

These Bud Light commercials are pretty much making sure that I don't drink a single bottle or can of that stuff, no matter how thirsty I might get.

Jacoby Brissett obviously has a long way to go but he has been impressive this preseason. Big arm, good mobility, solid pocket awareness.
