Draft order through the afternoon games:

They're showing it now as the Patriots in the #3 spot:

Based on the tie-breakers when it comes to the draft, it's due to the head-to-head win that bumped them back to #3.

Has a player always been first to the podium instead of Bill or is this a new tradition that Bill instituted since we started sucking?

Andrews should ask for a bonus for being trotted out there 1st after every game to take all the bullets.
It’s really been wrong to do that to the guy all year.

Congrats to Bill, just one loss from tying the all time regular season loss record!
Also, his 100th loss without the GOAT as his starting QB!
First time ever losing 12 games in a season in his career as HC

Positives from today for roster carryover next year...
- Harris showed a few good plays in his limited reps. Earned a 3rd year opportunity to increase load behind Rham.
- Austin has improved in each game, could be a valuable backup CB (if not #2 opposite Gonzo)
- Wilson surprising late / White helping out / Jennings solid
- Reagor may be a sneaking addition to the 53 as WR/KR

They have to be going to thousandths place since NE has the tie breaking / head to head loss to WAS.

So we’re done now right? No more of this “well if Bill agrees to a different GM maaaybe…” crap right? It’s over?
Yes….this should be the nail in the coffin….clean house Bob K…

I really think next week is Bill’s last game in NE. Sucks cause I wanted to see him have some success of his own sans Brady but it’s not meant to be. Could say his own decisions with the roster made that happen.

Either way I expect the team to win big. This is their SB.
You can tell, his body language, he's appeared to be more somber as of late. Nevertheless it's over, I appreciate everything he's contributed to the organization. I wish it could have ended differently

There's always the injury excuse.

This NEP’s team has turned into a scrappy bunch. They play hard for their coach and eachother. They fight hard and it’s nice to see but moral victories get you nowhere. 3 1st qtr turnovers, a rookie kicker that still can’t kick, some mind numbing streaks of inept playcalling on offense. No HH, no Trent Brown, JJSS turned out be as useless as many thought and they still almost took the game. Oh, well. One more game and this ****ty season is over with. We secured the #2 pick for now and should be in the drivers seat for at least a top 5 pick in each rd to hopefully load up with some impactful young players. Enjoy next week as if it’s Bill’s last game folks, even if it’s not. He deserves it. Regardless, this offseason is going to be a doozy and this team is going to look wildly different next year, hopefully for the better.

H2H is not part of the formula:

Tiebreakers: strength of schedule, division tiebreakers, conference tiebreakers, interconference tiebreakers, coin toss

gift wrapped Buffalo 20 points. The Bills are frauds and will get exposed in the playoffs.

I liked the play of our undermanned defense
I liked the fact that Zappe kept battling even after all the turnovers
I hated the conservative playcalling on the Pats 2nd last possession. In fact I've pretty much hated the play calling all season.
Ryland is a pile of crap
Agreed…Zappe’s 3 picks were a killer….but in some fairness to him …he was pressured constantly due to our garbage OL…still needs to make smarter decisions….4 turnovers and Ryland sucking really killed us….but yes….Zappe is scrappy

Can't believe I will be happy with a loss to the Jets next week. Want to throw up.

This has to be rock bottom right?

Looks like Drake Maye is a Patriot, IMO this is bad news, I’d rather sign Russell Wilson when he gets released , draft a QB in the second round trade down and take an OT

Here is what needs to happen for the Pats to secure the #2 assuming a loss to the Jets and a Wash loss vs Dallas.

Well... it is considering WAS and NE are not part of the same DIV or CONF...

If the teams have the same strength of schedule, division or conference tiebreakers are applied. If the divisional or conference tiebreakers are not applicable, or ties still exist between teams of different conferences, ties will be broken the following tie-breaking method:

  1. Head-to-head, if applicable
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games (minimum of four)
  3. Strength of victory in all games
  4. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games
  5. Best net points in all games
  6. Best net touchdowns in all games
  7. Coin toss

Not necessarily…could trade down 4-5 spots and pickup some excellent picks fir doing so.

Pats lost to Wash, shouldn't that put them ahead of them in draft order with same SOS?

Speaking of Austin, kid can play. If Bolden can come back next year and be improved, what a helluva boon to our CB situation that would be.
