For the second time in his illustrious NFL career, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has landed on the cover of the Madden NFL football video game franchise.
On Thursday, EA Sports and the NFL revealed Brady would be featured alongside his Super Bowl LV opponent, quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the cover of “Madden NFL 22: MVP Edition”.
In response to the announcement, Brady’s old teammate Julian Edelman couldn’t help but toss an age joke (or reminder) his way over Twitter.
Brady, who has been in the league since the 2000 season, was once upon a time referred only as “QB No. 12” when he was an unknown rookie in the 2000 version of the video game franchise,
Check out Edelman’s little reminder in the tweet below and as you’ll see, they didn’t even feature a photo of Brady.
