****** Official NFL Training camp transactions and injuries thread ******

The Cardinals continue to place players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and now will be without one of their critical offensive starters.

A day after receiver Rico Gafford and offensive lineman Shaq Calhoun went on the list, head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters at his press conference that center Rodney Hudson, offensive lineman Justin Pugh, wide receiver Andy Isabella, and wide receiver KeeSean Johnson are in the COVID protocol — which means the players will have to go on the list.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday that the Cardinals have over 90 percent of its roster vaccinated, which means there’s a decent chance some — if not most — of those seven players are among that group.

There were a lot of minor transactions today. I'll combine the Wuhan reserve list guys, that I know of, in this post.

The Titans now have two reasons to wait for pass rusher Bud Dupree to take the field for the first time in training camp.

Dupree was placed on the physically unable to perform list to open camp as he continues to make his way back from the torn ACL that ended his 2020 season. On Thursday, they announced that Dupree has also been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel opened camp on the team’s physically unable to perform list and the team added him to another list on Thursday.

Samuel was one of three players to land on the COVID-19 reserve list. Defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis and cornerback Chris Miller have also landed on the list.

Dolphins offensive lineman D.J. Fluker began training camp on the physically unable to perform list. On Thursday, the team moved Fluker to injured reserve.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports Fluker underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his meniscus Thursday and will miss 3-4 weeks. Fluker is expected to receive an injury settlement from the team, Pelissero adds, which will allow him to become a free agent and sign anywhere once healthy.

Eagles fans might laugh but they’ll be even more thrilled to know if wentz can’t play 70%+ of the team’s they’re not getting a first round pick for him. Ouch

So far in this thread we've seen Michael Thomas likely to miss the first six weeks of the season, Dak Prescott potentially coming back slowly from his injury, and Carson Wentz already having injuries (which were a concern coming into the season). What do the three of them have in common? They're all big pieces on Patriots opponents in 2021.

Nick Foles to the rescue, again...Book it.

Pats don’t play them until @ week 15.

Devonta Freeman gave the Saints plenty of headaches during his six seasons with the Falcons. A two-time Pro Bowl performer during his time in Atlanta, Freeman will try to give his old team fits during the 2021 season. The veteran running back has come to terms on a one-year deal with the Saints, according to Freeman's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Freeman came to terms shortly after visiting the Saints on Saturday.

Ferrell is actually a good player just nowhere near worth a top 4-5 pick. Vg run defender, he can get some pressure but just not a hunter. Not sure Arnette will thrive in Bradley system but we'll see.
