If you aren’t excited about what Bill Belichick can do with a 220 lb S who plays the run like a LB runs like a db, and can be disruptive in every area of the field, you should find a new hobby. Cry about everything else if you want but criticizing this pick makes you look really dumb.
Just playing the odds.
Let's play a game...you give me a quality 2nd round DB pick BB has made, and I'll respond with a horrendous one. We'll see who runs out of players first.

He was also screaming to draft 2 rookie QBs to develop behind Stidham. I think brain damage occurred when he fell out of his tractor, or maybe he didn’t have a mask on and got a compromising dose of DuPont chems from the crop duster.
Pats sign QB Brian Hoyer, LB Brandon Copeland
I don’t get it. Hes begging for a wideout; we took one first round last year and he struggled (imo injury basically killed his season.) Now he’s mad because we didn’t go that route again, instead focusing on replacing older vets/LB losses on defense and the worst TE group in the league?
He’s made his share of bad picks. Doesn’t mean you should shy away from taking a player you have strong convictions for just because you haven’t had success at this position in that particular round.
The 1st round receiver was being outplayed by an undrafted bum before he ever got hurt. He can’t run.
After watching the last 20 years of Patriot drafts, the complexities of Belichick's board are apparent. He clearly places value where most of us often don't. Where I get frustrated with some of the folks on this board is when they look at a draft as an opportunity to fix all of the team holes. This just isn't realistic. I have no idea why he didn't pick WR in this draft, other than his board didn't fall that way. We just lost our 20 year QB, are up against the cap for a year after a spectacular run and are coming off a season where we had the oldest offense and defense in the league. There is no way that the 2020 draft can alleviate our holes. I like what was done this weekend. It wasn't flashy but you can see the blueprint taking shape. That's all we can hope for in April.
Oh you mean preseason? You do realize that he was dealing with an ankle injury during that time that ultimately lead to IR. It came out that he was dealing with the injury all summer.
It is 100% wrong. His contract was up. You cannot fire someone who doesn’t have a contract. You can quote as many incorrect articles as you want but a fact is a fact.
Another thing you are entirely wrong about. The 1st round receiver was being outplayed by an undrafted bum before he ever got hurt. He can't run.
He got hurt in the preseason Lions game. He was slow in college, and he's slower in the NFL.
If that’s true then the average IQ of said “people” would be about 7. But reading some of these posts I might take the under.judging by the reactions , i bet if the pats don't make the playoffs , people will want BB fired next yr.
boston media and fans are very quick to turn on their coaches and players so it wont take long or much here for that to happen. If that’s true then the average IQ of said “people” would be about 7. But reading some of these posts I might take the under.
