Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Mahomes is #1 by any QB index. I still have Allen at #2 despite the recent struggles. Fields is too high on this list but he's in the midst of an incredible stretch running the ball which is likely to end now with the non-throwing shoulder injury. Fields also has no help whatsoever on that offense... it's basically all up to him. And the Bears front office gave up on the season too early when they traded away their defense. Mac Jones is where he belongs at #29 and two of the three QBs behind him just got benched. And the one just ahead.
Fields was throwing about 160 yards per game and now he's injured cause he's playing rb. I can't respect a QB who can't throw but here is another loser writer who thinks he is MVP worthy and the Bears are suddenly relevant with a 4 game losing streak lol.

"Now on pace for over 1,200 rushing yards, he deserves actual MVP looks for the way he's made the Bears relevant."

He ranked Rodgers ahead of Brady after he had 1 good game. Making excuses "Truth is, the touch never left. It just got buried by the Packers' lack of star power"

Tom Brady$25,000,000$25,000,000

Brady is the 15th highest paid QB. Looking at this list, most of these teams got hosed. Mahomes and Allen are fair value while Brady is still playing at a huge discount.

The Packers got hosed big time by Rodgers. He is a few days from being 39yo and already showing signs of decline. If he manages to make it to 2024 when he is 42, the Packets would have an insane 68 million in dead cap assuming that is his last year.

So for playing from 2022 to 2024, the Packers are on the hook for 169million or 56 million per year. Lol what clowns. Rodgers is definitely the anti- Brady. They can kiss goodbye to any hopes of playoffs.

In getting to 5-5 with a win over the Seahawks in Germany, the Buccaneers rediscovered their running game. Going forward, they’ll wait to discover which running back is getting it done the best during a given game.

“Depending on who gets hot at a certain time, we’ll ride that hand,” coach Todd Bowles told reporters on Wednesday. “Right now, we need everybody back there — [Ke’Shawn Vaughn] included with Gio [Bernard] coming back. We’ve got guys [that] if they get in the game and they get going pretty [well], we’ll probably leave them in there.”

Byron Leftwich on why the offense finally jelled in their last game against Seattle. “I think the group is getting better.”

Bucs’ Rachaad White ready for a bigger role, Byron Leftwich says

Gage out again how bad was this dudes hamstring and why was he playing earlier

Vita Vea and Leonard Fournette both at Bucs practice today, helmet in hand. Fournette definitely testing his hip in warmups. Not in play for this week, but saw Logan Ryan running with a trainer on the side.

Bowles said Vita Vea’s injury took place during bye week. Wasn’t hurt in Munich, just woke up one day with soreness in his foot. Still could recover enough to play Sunday.

Bowles says Vita Vea and Leonard Fournette are both making progress, will be game-day decisions Sunday. Only WR Russell Gage and G Luke Goedeke ruled out for Browns game.

The Buccaneers don’t expect to have running back Leonard Fournette in the lineup this weekend.

Fournette has been listed as doubtful to play against the Browns after being limited in practice all week with a hip injury. Fournette’s absence would mean a lot of playing time for rookie Rachaad White and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich said on Thursday that he believes White has shown he’s capable of doing the job.

Leonard Fournette doubtful, Vita Vea questionable - ProFootballTalk

Bucs’ inactives vs. Browns today: TE Kyle Rudolph, S Nolan Turner, QB Kyle Trask, WR Russell Gage, RB Leonard Fournette, G Luke Goedeke.

Vita Vea is active for the Bucs and will play today in Cleveland.

Wow the Bucs are a steaming pile of crap…..can’t believe they are struggling against Brownies in all phases…

The Bucs secondary is the softest bunch of football players ever

One of them is on the ground almost every other snap

Todd Bowles is a f*cking moron!

Donovan smith is the worst player in the nfl at any position

Season over! They have no shot without Wirfs

Todd Bowles has no business being a HC.

WTF is with Evans today? Looks like he's half speed on every play.
He looks like that constantly

Always over exaggerates contact and let’s up

On cue Bucs have another member of their secondary on the ground. Absolute trash team
