Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

If they can somehow replace Jones with OBJ I'd be down but I don't see it happening. Gronk coming back for vet min or do you really go all in and spread out his 10 mil once again.

Gronk will only be enticed back by money, alot of money, and even that is a longshot. That semi-dirty hit he took last year seems to have been the last straw.

I don't think he'll come back at all but makes sense that 5 mil for half a season might be an incentive. I'm not sure joining the team any later than that would be worth it but I suppose the price would come down too.

Not getting my hopes up for Gronk although I'm sure Tom will try to persuade him.

If Gronk’s logic is “$5 million? Yeah that’s about half of what I want. If you want a half year of work call me in week 9” then it might work.

With all the receivers coming back and getting healthy, was Beasley going to get cut or put in the practice squad? So he retired instead.
Beasley caught 12 yards with the top 3 targets out, so I think they politely gave him the opportunity to retire on his own.

Gronk seems pretty far removed from making a return to football at this point. Brate actually looked pretty decent for the first time this season until he got hurt. It was good to see White get more involved in the passing game too.

Brady looks like Brady and clearly is still capable of elite quarterbacking. So the key to their offense is Godwin and Evans remaining available... the rest is just going to be filler. Julio Jones is just going to be incredibly frustrating regarding his availability. They're likely to get more out of Gage and even Perriman. The running game has completely disappeared but it's really the complimentary aspect of their offense and should be adequate in that regard.

The defense got embarrassed by the Chiefs so hopefully that has lit a fire under their *sses. They've got 3 get-right opponents lined up so that should help the team regain some momentum for facing the Ravens and the Rams... they've got to win 1 or even both of those games or they're going to look like a team who can only beat the weaker opponents.

Tom Brady back at practice today and throwing as normal. Julio Jones and Breshad Perriman continue to practice. Didn’t see Logan Ryan, Cam Brate or Akiem Hicks.

Sorry, yes, Todd Bowles was back as expected at Bucs practice today after being away for personal reasons Wednesday.

Brate was there, but working with the training staff rather than practicing.

Falcons missing Patterson and may miss Kyle Pitts since he didn't practice again. No excuses they have to win

...who the hell is even on the Falcons offense then lol?
They have a good Oline this year but other than that the receivers are okay nothing to special

I believe Brady will sign a 2 year deal with the Fins next year. I would not also bet against him trying to play until 50 especially with the divorce.

I'm on the main forum saying the Patriots cannot lose to Detroit, a bad team, with a losing history. I feel the same way about the Bucs vs Atlanta. They have to win this game. And it shouldn't even be close, but if it is, then we can press the panic button.

I think Detroit will win by 10 or more and Atlanta should have 0 chance in this game.

Detroit will probably score 30+. Can the Pats match? Well they should get at least 20 against Detroit's bad D.

If the Bucs give up an early turnover and if they keep on giving up 6+ yards on first down runs, it won't be easy.

I feel the same way. Detroit is a better team than the Pats.
