By the way you post I am guessing you are about 14 years old......close?

No, just fired up about the pats chances.

Bill will have 2 weeks to think of something just like how he did the greatest show on turf.

I like coolguy's confidence. It's like he hasn't watched a Patriots game all year.

Quick change of subject: at the end of the Fox post-game show, Jimmy Johnson is doubting the Giants; Michael Strahan lets a "you bastard" slip from his lips just before they break to commercial.

Frankly I appreciate the honest reaction. Unfortunately it will probably be tsk-tsked by the politically correct crowd.

BILL WILL THINK OF SOMETHING!!

bILL will shut down aaron just like he used to do peyton manning all those years.

The fact aaron has never played bill will give him an advantage.

on a side note, if i can recall, when before the patriots and packers played last season, didn't belichick compare aaron rodgers to john elway? Saying that he is a modern john elway? anyone know what he said?

Destroy?

Those rose colored glasses fit nicely eh?

I guess you think our defense won't give up 40 to GB?

We let Dan Orlovsky pass for almost 400 yards,How many yards would Rodgers have?

The Pats let Orlovsky pass for 150 yards in three quarters while building an insurmountable 31-3 lead...what he did after that really doesn't matter much...they LOST...YOU always ,after every game, log on and pound away at all these horrible negatives YOU see as first, not making the playoffs, and then when we are in, losing in the first round ...badly. YOU are a chronic crybaby complainer. You missed an UNBELIEVABLE performance by a special player today, a player who was unstoppable drive after drive after drive after drive...Gronk broke Indy's defensive back....it's like YOU never even SAW any of those drives ...or if you did, you take such offensive domination as run of the mill ordinary and not worth the time to even give a passing nod to.Welker had ELEVEN catches for 115 yards...YOU are running thread to thread screaming doom and gloom, never ONCE giving even a tepid acknowledgement of his day...WTF kind of Patriots fan are you anyway? Your handle says PA. but I have to ask...are you Steve From Fall River or what?

I'm wondering why we didnt take a flier on cruz honestly. Being a local kid you would think our scouts would've had the best look and he can get deep so not like we couldn't use his skill set.

I'm sure AR would salivate with DMC on Greg Jennings and the host of other mismatches they have across the board.
Well that's why they play the games. Weren't the Patriots was supposed to mop the floor with the Giants four years ago?

The amount of outcry on these boards after the Patriots offense or defense has a mediocre game is hilarious. BB should just forfeit the remaining games and focus on next season. I'm not saying the Patriots would beat the Packers but the attitude on these boards 95% of the time is brutal. Take a look at the GDTs for example.

Patriots + prudent WR scouting and drafting are mutually exclusive notions it seems.

Bill shutdown the greatest show on turf......Did you watch the pats that season?

The fact of the matter is the packers o-line is the same as last year, if bill can get pressure or create something he will win.

The patriots play better as underdogs.

We also didnt have the mailman, local bartender and the dog whisperer playing in our secondary.

Any given sunday always applies, but the comparison is apples to oranges given the giants 2007 D was head and shoulders above our present day D. The giants also played us very tough the last game of that year so I never agreed with the "we are going to destroy them" theory.

Having that said we would have to shoot it out with them and our O is sporadic in its own right @ times. Hard to pick the pats over the packers if I'm being objective.

Bill will think of something....AND WE STILL HAVE THE 11TH rank redzone defense....that counts for something.

Titus Young was the receiver I wanted in the draft......

I picked the under in tonight game..it was 55...lets hope!

Bill Belichick had the likes of Richard Seymour, Tedy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, Ty Law, Lawyer Milloy/Rodney Harrison, Ted Johnson, and Mike Vrabel anchoring those defenses. The only players we have now on defense that can be mentioned in the same breath as them are Vince Wilfork and Jerod Mayo. We don't have the depth and leadership of the early 2000's Patriots. They can't play up to the level of the Homeland Defense just because you want them to. It's not a switch you turn on by sheer will. You either have the talent and experience, or you don't, and the Patriots obviously don't. This team will only go as far as its offense takes them.

Ya, me too. But Bosie guys, always make me nervous. And 2nd round was pretty high for him.

The Lions seriously don't believe that Kevin Smith is better than Maurice Morris do they? Talk about investing stock in one performance.
