NFL Top 100 players of 2019

I rolled my eyes when someone said a "complete tight end".

Gronk was better than Kelce even last season. Even in his Gronk Lite form, he crushed him in every efficiency category, though Kelce had a lot more targets and was often wide open from all those weapons. Oh, also Gronk was rated among the best offensive lineman by PFF.

Edelman is literally a better blocker than Kelce despite the size difference.

Brady at 2?? or no?

Seems to be a big wild card this year. Anywhere from 1-5 wouldn't surprise me. I have a feeling it could be lower though, just because a lot of people will look at his regular season and Super Bowl statlines only and conclude that he's declining, like most lazy journalists have done this offseason.

It's so bad Reid had Kelce running away from the run play so he just took the defender on him out without having to block. Kelce was super wide open all the time, rarely pressed. If Gronk had that coverage all season he would have had 1300 yards too.

So the Top 10, in no particular order, is going to be:

Brady
Brees
Mahomes
Rodgers
Julio
Brown
Gurley
Mack
Von Miller
Aaron Donald

Only two changes from last year, Wentz and Bell out, Mahomes and Mack in.

9th straight year in the Top 10 for TB12 (every year since the inception of the list). His worst placement in the previous 8 years was #4.

As expected, they still underrate Jules at #90.

Nick Chubb not on the top 100?

Also think Gurley shouldn’t go over any of Barkley/Kamara/CMC for me.

CMC at #42 is another head scratcher.

Would also have Wilson as definitely the better player than Rivers.

Have to think they’ll give it to either Brady, Mahomes, or Donald.

Mostly agree, though I wouldn’t be shocked if either Julio or Brown snuck into one of those spots.

I've always thought of Kelce as a big WR (in the Jimmy Graham mold) not a prototypical TE.

That's exactly what he is. A receiver. But don't go telling Chiefs fans that. They'll take offense to it.

Trey Flowers missed the cut @ #110

Should be:
1. Brady
2. Mahomes
3. Brees
4. Donald
5. Mack

Will be:
1. Donald
2. Brady
3. Brees
4. Mahomes

Who else?
I didn't really care to remember who the others were.

Off the top of my head, Chris Harris jr, Desmond King, Denzel Ward, Terron Armstead, and Richard Sherman at #101. I don't remember the rest.

Ahh gotcha. Just wondered if any other Pats like Shaq Mason just missed.

Lol, NFL Films dissing Booger McFarland's stupid stand. Nice!
