Lack of fear of KC/Mahomes/Reid?

The Giants, Ravens, and Jets (2010) never feared the Patriots. That probably helped them in some way. If you go in with a losing attitude, you get blown out.

The only team who deep down probably doesn't fear KC are the Eagles.
That's from coaching.

I agree.

And coaching is what is wasting away Allen and Lamar (to an extent). Those coaches never give me confidence when I listen to them.

Say what you want about Rex Ryan, but I thought he got alot out of a team with an average QB against better teams. He beat Rivers, Palmer, Manning and Brady.

Wright is a Chrefs homer so his opinion on that team can be disregarded.

Mahomes has never beaten Brady in the biggest games and that matters more than anything else. And when you have a 20+ year career you'll get beat once in a while in the playoffs.
Of course.

I also hate the Montana》Brady argument of undefeated vs not undefeated. When you go to a SB so many times, you are going to lose games. Joe went one and done five or six times in his career. Nobody deserves credit for losing earlier.

Yup.

I always use the medals analogy. 7 golds and 3 silvers >>>> 4 golds and 0 silvers

With Vrabel, I don't think this Patriots team would be intimidated by the Chiefs. Vrabel has seen it all in this league.

I don't think we ever have been. We've always played them tough even when they were much better on paper

You respect a good offense but it's a strong D that strikes fear in an opponent's heart. The Chefs D was adequate last year but overall their defense hasn't been anything to fear for the past half dozen years. I think a solid opponent looks at the Chiefs and thinks, 'we can score on these guys'

Color me lame but I just haven’t been impressed with the Queefs. Bias be damned or not, they should be looking over their shoulders right now.. Probably something to do with those rose tinted glasses I’ve been wearing too..

The Chiefs have never been a more complete team. The AFC is pretty doomed unfortunately, and on the NFC side it only looks like the Lions can stop them from a fifth Lombardi.

I know you said on the NFC side, but they have to now worry about this new and up and coming team. Dono if you’ve heard of the patriots but I think in a year or so, the path to the sb will be going through foxboro. And I can wait for the hatred that is incoming. Maybe it’ll be a bit different with Vrabes as coach and doing the pressers (I hope not because I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the NYJFL *****ing about us)…
