Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Sorry buddy, you've lost me for good with the above. Kraft is innocent until proven guilty. We have yet to even hear his defense and you've already convicted him. At least let the man make a defense if he so chooses. I'm done.
Unless the prosecutors are actually lying (which wouldn't be completely unheard of but I highly doubt is the case here), then the evidence they have described constitutes proof of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt for any thinking individual.

That's why all this talk about Kraft's defense focuses on getting the evidence thrown out of court. Even the guy you have a man-crush on, Eric Snyder, focuses his imaginary defense of Kraft on those lines.

Not going to read through 140 pages.

Not a lawyer, but here goes. If you leave a bar and drive perfectly fine, don't speed, no headlights out, and a police officer pulls you over, finds you are drunk and arrests you, it will be thrown out of court. Leaving a bar is not probably cause for stopping you.

So, leaving a massage parlor is the same thing. Especially if you are a passenger. The police officer has no right to pull you over unless you are doing something wrong. It is illegal, and anything gained will be thrown out. Furthermore, even if the driver was speeding, the officer doesn't have the legal right to ask for Kraft's information, he was the passenger.

Not the same thing at all, They had a warrant to gather evidence in an investigation from a judge. Kraft was taped breaking the law before leaving for the car ride and was stopped to have his id verified.

Sure, but to videotape the sessions over a period of 4 months, while the women they're supposedly protecting are still being exploited.. all that required a lot of work. If they're happy with a 50% conviction rate after doing all that, it just speaks even more to the absurdity of the entire operation.

Do you know when the taping started?
I don't and suspect they gathered other evidence prior to going to the judge to get permission to install the cameras.

Leave Bob alone. Take the Social Justice liberal crap and find a commie website like CNN to babble nonsense.

Nothing is gonna happen to Bob. Bad arrest. Silly story.

On to Ring 7.

We lost a well respected coach over this so far.

We’re not a court of law. We’re free to judge whether we think he’s innocent or a dirty old man who got caught as we see fit.
You can have an OPINION but you can’t say “Kraft committed a crime”. That’s a fact, not an opinion!

In a court of law he is innocent until proven guilty. In reality it’s blatanty obvious he committed a crime. Even a fool understands that.
But it’s a crime in the category of speeding since it’s in the misdemeanor category.

I don’t think Kraft has done well after losing Myra.

A crime is a crime. The same rules about stopping a d questioning, search and seizure, etc apply regardless of your view on the severity of the crime.

It's funny that both the people Kraft supposedly propositioned have valid Masseuse Licenses from the State of Florida and one of the people was supposedly the owner of the facility. Kind of puts huge holes in the idea that Kraft was breaking the law and that the women were being sex-trafficked.

How does that put any hole in the fact that he broke the law.
He has not been charged in any way with any crime related to sex trafficking.
They have him on film getting serviced by a prostitute and paying her. The age and license of the prostitute has no effect on whether it’s a crime.

True, but I’m just trying to put this in proper perspective. Nothing to get all “OMG!” over.

We lost a well respected coach over this so far.

Easterby was what amounts to the team chaplain. Not an x's and o's or conditioning coach. His main task this past season was to keep Gordon on the straight and narrow and we see how that turned out. Frankly, assuming he's Christian, if he left over this, good riddance. People are imperfect. He, of all people, should understand this.

Could you please cite your proof that Easterby left the team over this?

Easterby re-tweeted something that seems to portend that idea, but again, if he's supposed to be the Christian in the room, I'm not sure leaving over something like this really aligns. Like I said, his MAIN job this past season was to keep Gordon on the straight and narrow. Not really sure we lost much there. I'm much more concerned about losing the likes of Flores and Daly.

But of course, this entire debacle has been blown way out of proportion from the start, so why stop now?

You've done a good job holding your ground in this thread, but you don't seem to be on firm ground with regards to Christianity. Just my $.02, but I'd suggest you leave that part be.

To be clear, I am not anti-Christian at all and I hope my words are not being interpreted that way.
