I think it's BS but I can see the reasoning for that to happen. Every franchise in the AFC should be setting themselves up for live post Brady, the reality is that. As long as Brady is playing their chances are slim.

In a few years Luck will still be 30, probably with a better O-line and roster all around. If instead of regress JMD make him better, that can be a scenario for a dinasty. Brady is old, Big Ben is old, there's no one around and coming in the draft, Bortles? Mariota? Pfff give me a break.

If Irsay clean house, deflategate will die with it, I can see this move.
