Yeah. His brother took over. They were afraid Woody would be trying to sign some great footballers from the Premier League.

Oh he didn't sell the team. He still owns it. Just gave up any of the day-to-day operations an owner does.

Not that there really is much an owner does though.

OMG that JETE bulletin board is funny.

I don't know which is funnier, the guys ready to ditch "Hack" because he can't break the huddle correctly, or the guys saying "Oh yeah sure and you ignore all those plays where he did." Left unspoken: just how basic the underlying task was.

You guys really do deliver every year, Jete fans, I gotta hand it to ya.

I'm talking about owning the futility, you know THE SUCKAGE.

"Do we break huddle on three or after you say three?"

" Do we clap on three and then break the huddle or do we clap as we're breaking the huddle? "

" man oh man this stuff is complicated "

Is there any high-school team still working on this? Don't they have pop warner league in New Jersey?

What's the over-under on false starts for the JETE this year? You know, when the big uglies just sort of shift their butts because their backs hurt, and their hand comes out of the grass?

And Hack has had a year in the Jete advanced training system already.

LOL at the Jete Fans who are looking forward to Darnold/Rosen/whomever.

There's no way that Blowes and staff will be able to develop whomever they draft into becoming a NFL QB.

Whomever they get will be the next Hack / Gee-No! / ...

Hey, look! KickMe79 chimes in again with another whopper rationalization. This time it's "Woody's clueless ownership style doesn't matter because owners don't do much anyway." Bend over and take your punishment, KickMe ...

When you need an ambassador to help complete a country's exit from the European Union, no one can clear a room or a parliamentary fete like the former owner of the NY Jete.
His face literally looks like an ass hole in that picture.

Players are basically doing this:

Somewhere in the shadows of Met Life Stadium Fireman Ed weeps over the demise of the J E T S.... he does take solace in remembering "Broadway Joe"...

Somewhere in the shadows of Met Life Stadium Fireman Ed weeps over the demise of the J E T S.... he does take solace in remembering "Broadway Joe"...

...When a vast image out of Spiritus Hoffa
Troubles my sight: somewhere in swamps of New Jersey
A shape with butt of a center and a quarterback's head,
A gaze blank and pitiful as its fans,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant Dirty Birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That half a century of futile sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches toward the Meadowlands to be born?

::Shudder::

The Bowles movement is classic Jete suckage. Maybe their best suckage yet.

Last year the Jete quit like dogs during the season. The last game vs the Pats was an embarrassment to the NYFL (if possible). This year they're quitting from the beginning and successfully selling that to their fans.

The lucky Jete players are those who get injured or waived.

There's no such thing as a lucky Jete fan.
