You certainly are entitled to speak for yourself. What we have is several news outlets reporting the mascot-person was hospitalized mixed with Adams' tweets of protest. NBSBH just now reported that Adams has been quoted saying "he was told" the mascot was hospitalized. It's up to the news outlets to confirm their reports.

Looks like somebody's trying to clean up a mess. But Punk Jamal comes off as pretty immature through all this. All he had to do was say, "It was just a bit of staged fun between me and the mascot dude." That way, nothing gets misconstrued as yet another typical Jete f*ck up.

Next best is the incident was staged, but the mascot still got hurt. Those things are not mutually exclusive.

Worst case this wasn't staged, the mascot got hurt, and Adams is trying to muddy the waters. But, as much as I hate the Jets and get bad juju vibes from Adams in general, I haven't seen anything official to convince me that's what's happening yet.
