they look slightly darker to me. more grey than silver. im more concerned about what the hoody is going to look like and if the quality will remain high like the reebox one. i buy a hoodie a year. i love the hoodies. nike will probably hip hop the damn thing up and make it impossible for a adult to wear. the new era hats are god awful with the huge block letters and the high front like a old truck drivers hat.

I agree that some of the hats are just ridiculous. It's not easy finding a decent one anymore, at least for me.

I wouldn't worry about the hoodie too much. It shouldn't be too different, and if it is, there will still be some in the proshop or somewhere that you can find.

The better question is--do I now have to go up a size in my jerseys due to the shrinkage-look, and tightening?

thats why i would never order a game jersey via the internet. its to much money to spend without trying one on. you can get a good look at the new uniform on the pats web site. you can clearly see the pants. they look slightly darker.

What changed about the NEP pants? I didn't notice. You say they are a lighter shade of grey now?

I think any kind of change would have had to be signed off by the specific team, since they are the ones who own the rights to the colors, trademark, and logo (besides the NFL).

I cannot figure out why Nike is releasing such bad pictures.

They're all either murky, like a Polaroid in low light, or blown out so that everything appears white.

I miss the striped socks. I always thought those looked great.

All I see now are the gray/blue color block socks, which look nice, but the striped ones seemed more old NFL to me.

Agreed--weak promo job on Nike's part, but that slideshow of photos you found are probably the clearest ones I've seen.

I wonder how that battleship grey--as opposed to the old silver--will look with the helmets, which appear to be a lot more 'sparkly', for lack of a better word, than before?

I know , not trying to an instigator, but you look way cooler with the helmets and pants the same color as they where before. This would really bother me if our pats don't match our helmets , and its a great point, lol , because even thou I loved the silver pants, I never noticed they matched your helmets till now. But Its seems battleship grey to me.
