Jersey did not change.. BUT......

The pants definitely changed.

We used to have shiny silver. Like the Raiders.

Now we have a dull grey. Like the Giants but lighter toned. The pants are almost pearl white now. Some will blame it on the lighting, but hey, our old pants didn't look WHITE in any lighting.





Thought this deserved its own thread because everyone was focusing on the jersey and seemed to miss how much the uniforms pants changed.

Even the silver trim on the shoulder looks white now. Nikes materials don't hold colour the same way the old jerseys did.

Agreed! I think the pants will end up looking a similar color as the Giants pants because of the Nike materials. I feel as though the Reebok pants weren't necessarily "dri-fit" like Nike because the pants were so shiney that it'd be hard to mix in the technology.

I'm guessing that the CBoys light blue pants are just part of their heritage etc, and they didn't want to mess with it. Just a guess though.

What changed about the NEP pants? I didn't notice. You say they are a lighter shade of grey now?

I think any kind of change would have had to be signed off by the specific team, since they are the ones who own the rights to the colors, trademark, and logo (besides the NFL).

they look slightly darker to me. more grey than silver. im more concerned about what the hoody is going to look like and if the quality will remain high like the reebox one. i buy a hoodie a year. i love the hoodies. nike will probably hip hop the damn thing up and make it impossible for a adult to wear. the new era hats are god awful with the huge block letters and the high front like a old truck drivers hat.
