Jason Taylor traded to Redskins for second-round pick

The Redskins might be the worst run organization this side of the Mississippi. They constantly give away valuable draft picks for older veteran players. While Taylor is still playing a high level, a second round pick is too high a price for that team. They're not contending for a SB anytime soon, and deals like this are the reason why. They have no depth, cuz they give away team building picks. A team like the Chargers, Colts, Patriots, Cowboys, etc. could afford to give away a second, since they are the teams who have a legitimate shot to win it all. The Redskins are in a tough division where they might not even make the playoffs.

Looks like he will play some LB at Washington. He was never going to come to the Pats but to say he couldn't be effective in the Patriots defense is absurd. You can argue that two drafts picks is too much to give up but it is pretty obvious the guy can play.

I am glad he danced his way out of the division.

"The Redskins listed Jason Taylor as a "LB/DE" on their training camp roster.
He's been given No. 55, a linebacker number, indicating the Skins will let him play some with his hand up. Taylor has experience at OLB in Miami's 3-4. The position could afford him chances to chase and make open-field plays. "

the redskins could make the super bowl on emotion alone. they want to play for sean taylor and that's going to drive them all season. trust me, i think the redskins are going to knock either the cowboys or giants(more likely) from the wildcard spot.

Dude...the sean taylor thing is passe now......that was their motivation LAST year...time to move on...the skins have a ton of holes on their offensive line and are ONE defensive lineman/LB injury away from total chaos.....TWO of their top defensive lineman are gone for the season with injuries from pre-camp......
