It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Breaston rode the bench for most of last year, and he claimed that he didn't know why. The Chiefs film every one of their practices, and Reid had access to those tapes. Breaston got cut.
That's awfully red flaggish, to me, particularly since Reid's a guy who loves to throw the ball.
Also, as a side note, Boss needs to retire. It's a shame, but he's another of the concussion guys.
Someone from K.C. to keep an eye on is the DE, Jackson. He's got a huge cap number and will either restructure or get cut. If he gets cut loose, I could see the Patriots having some interest in him.
61 receptions 785 yards 2011
47 receptions 718 yards 2010
Candidate for a cheap #3 WR perhaps.
No thanks. I never have any interest in former 1st round pass rushers that didn't pan out. Why?? Because if they didn't pan out in 4 years, they will NEVER pan out.
Where did I say he's a pass rusher? He's a top pick who played well against the run at times, but was overdrafted as part of a lousy upper draft in 2009. I think he'll probably look for more than the Patriots are willing to pay, but I could see them giving him a "If you don't find what you're looking for, give us a call" kind of pitch.
How does a TE group of Gronk - Hernandez - Ballard - Dave Thomas sound?
I don't think Breaston is a realistic option. He was made a healthy inactive late last season and had seven catches in 10 games. His offensive coordinator from last season is now with the Pats (Daboll).
While speculation continues in regard to the future of Cincinnati Bengals MLB Rey Maualuga, it’s likely that the team will pass on re-signing the fifth-year pro, a source with the knowledge of the situation said.
Maualuga played in a career-high 1025 snaps during the 2012 season, but struggled with game-to-game consistency. The former second-round pick out of the 2009 NFL Draft started all 16 regular season games for the first time in his career.
Here's a little something of interest to those of us where were involved in the Maualuga drafting debates. It's not official but, hey, the board's slow:

Yep, I just thought I'd add in all of the real free agents too though. I think the other list is purely speculative at the moment. Some will be on there and some won't be.
Either way it gives a lot of competition to the spot of CB outside of the draft, and it also makes the rankings that have Talib as the #2 CB a bit questionable due to the sheer volume and talent level of those players, which would be good in hopes of keeping him on a fair deal.
